Pinkie’s 500th Post: Reflections and Ideas

Hurray! Dear Reader welcome to my 500th post! While I missed the mark of 500 posts on Paradise , I  was in time to do something about me reaching 500 posts. So today we will do the obligatory Reflections as well as discussing content for the future, you know the road to 1000.  So what was it like making 500 posts?!  Take a look with me! During these 500 posts! I laughed, I cried, I learned and I adapted and this is a little journal on how!

What Have I Learned

Let’s first take a look at the growth I made!  As a writer, I do not personally feel I have grown all that much!  I still make silly mistakes, I still am long winded but I am also still me!  Throughout almost two years of blogging now I do think I for the most part always kept track of me.. all posts feel like me! I can recognise myself in my earliest writing , the middle and the end.  Even though I changed content a lot in these 500 posts, there is a certain level of me in all of them that makes me feel at least a little accomplished. I also learned that maybe that very almost indescribable thing that is the “me” that is in that post is what keeps people around. I can change up my content a lot but people will still be there. Except for gaming posts around older games, those really usually bomb!  I might need to delve deeper into Gaming WordPress to grow further. 

I tried many approaches to things , but I also learned that blogging in a way can be a bit addicting. I wanted to put a post out every day,  I wanted to do two every day even.. but I realised with how long my average post is.. that is not something I can maintain.  I spend so much effort to get posts done.. just to break even at the end of a day. One post goes in, one post goes out! I need to be blogging every day, need to be edditing every day and need to be able to consume content every day as well! I discovered I struggle with episodic reviews,  they are easy enough to produce but they hardly give me any gratification. An episode summary feels redundant because people who read these things often seen the same anime, yet you can also not got without the summary so half my post already feels redundant. It will also kinda force you to find negatives about an episode and it made me feel whiney and unhappy!  So after a massive burnout.. I decided to end them. I needed to be happy!

My current schedule of blogging every other day already works a lot better for me!  I am  creating a post every day still, sometimes more, but this time around I actually plus on blogs.  I write two.. one goes out, one is still in cue. This is much more managable with my health. If I have a bad day.. I can now accept I have a bad day and just don’t produce. I can go spend a day with my friends or family without feeling obligated to blog, I feel a lot more free. I could also write shorter posts and write several a day… but that’s not me! I need to think more and correct myself more! 

That’s not my style.. while I may repeat myself a lot now and talk about random stuff in the middle.. what I write comes from the heart.. it feels to me more as if I am talking to you.. and I rather have that than styling out a post! I read a lot of how to blog guides, and a lot of tips to be regular and consistent to be neutral and all of that, but to me that may work to get you an audience.. but that might not work for you as a blogger. I love you all, but I learned  that audience is secondary to yourself having fun.  You can’t write if you hate doing it! Sometimes that means letting your audience down…or not growing as fast as you could. So be it! I am sorry, but as a hobby blogger your first responsibility is to you and your hobby!

Now I love all my posts and never will favourite any of them, as the others may cry so I won’t be going over my favourite posts!  Yet while creating this blog and while doing things I have come to experience a few highlights. The first one is minor but I just had so much fun! It was while I was creating my post for OWLS-Minicon , my post about all the convention plushie dealers around the world.  While that post tanked hard and not many people cared about my passion for plushies it was a great experience to get to learn some new people. To get that feeling that I can do at least a very little something back for those people who provide us with these amazing dealers rooms!

  Even if we don’t buy their plushies,their games or whatever, think how your dealer room would look without them.  Empty.. not fun, even if you don’t buy their goods you still like browsing the stall!  Some of the interactions I had with those people were fun and super grateful! Not a people may have read the post or they disliked it just.. but to me I felt closer to the geek community then I had in a long while!  I may have not been able to bestow people that convention feel.. but I sure got it!

 Another Highlight was my decision to look for Blog STAFF! It has offered me a nice platform of great people to interact with, with the coming of Periwinkle the STAFF chat has really livened up!  I love geeking out over things, and even some of the random discussions we have!  I am so happy to have these people in my life! As well as the awesome blogger crowd visiting me of course.. but with the STAFF  it is just something special you know!  A long time ago I worked on a blog with friends and I loved that feeling, and that feeling is beginning to return a bit now!  Paradise is growing and I really love it. 

Yet another highlight I had , and this may sound silly is being included in K’s ,Which Blogger are You test.  It wasn’t exactly that I was included that made me happy, it was the fat that I answered my questions very genuinely  and it spit me out!  I have a lot of fun making my images, dong the whole paradise thing and trying to have this “brand” as it were.  I wasn’t sure if it worked. I hide a lot of fun details in a lot of my images, or go to some weird effort to make an egg reflect in the water.. just because I want to give it a try… I never really get reactions to this.. but the test showed, it got noticed. I try provide content that is off the beaten path.. and oftenly  those post perform badly in terms of likes,,but this test showed me it was noticed

As the scatterbained loon that I am I often interacting less with people than I would like, I read your blog on my phone, then go to grab a cupcake, I like your post as I enjoy my cupcake.. but then I see on my pc on twitter that another person also made a new post! I go read it and forget the like button! I oftenly type comments to people and as I search for a strong joke to end on I end up petting my Pikachu in Pokémon Camp and it shows me an apple and I forget to enter my comment or sometimes I get to anxious to reply.  I feel like a horrible person a lot of the itme because of it.. increasing that anxiety… yet by being included in the test.. I got a feeling, okay so perhaps I am not as much as an outsider as my mind makes me out to be.. perhaps i do belong here!  I may be weird and distant..but I am approachable.. and that really made me smile!  Irina’s attempt to explain me trough anime characters was another one of those things.. and it even gave me an idea for my next restyle. My Lows

Watamote–Anime Early Impressions – FunBlog

Today we will celebrate so we will not stand still with my lows a lot, but I made a few discoveries about blogging and content creation in general that made me feel a bit…disappointed. A big thing was a realisation I made. While I really do love anime I don’t enjoy it in the frequencies that most others here do. I watch anime once or twice a week and I am content with that. Not always that long either. I am not sure if that is enough, I don’t feel alien to the world of anime but I can not really shake that “fifth” wheel feeling.  I am not being subjected to active gatekeeping, but when I walk into a discussion I do feel I am in over my head. I do not feel I have much to contribute.  I always end up freezing up and just letting others have their fun discussion without bothering them with more basic shows!

It is a feeling I have come to learn to accept , the eternal Kohai but it is a feeling I did not expect when I began.  Anime is great and the anime community is fantastic but I never expected it to be this “overwhelming”. It’s  all about the anime. In a way I’d say the community is a bit more nerdy than geeky. With which I mean: At a convention you talk to strangers and they ask you , how is your bubble tea, where did you get that figurine or if you vaguely know them, how are you.  I will always have an answer.

The Online-Anime-Community is more “ Have you seen Astra yet?”  “Someone did a Gatekeeper Tweet” , “Miss Kobayashi 2 trailer looks shit”. These discussions can be fun, but  I always wonder.. does my voice in this really matter?! Meanwhile, compare that to the question “How is your Bubbletea?” I know my answer is going to be relevant. This is not a flaw about the anime community, just a misconception I had. I have had a rough time coming to terms with that.  I have since made friends I talk personal with like Summer and Mallow, but also many others, but with that voice that tells me I am not good enough, or watch to basic anime it has been a bit of a struggle. The demon on my shoulder never fully goes away and keeps telling me, people will abandon me because I don’t watch anime daily!

Another lowpoint I have had with blogging is WordPress itself, it has given me more trouble recently! Just when I get into a rhythm they change it up and put something that was never an effort before, behind an extra set of clicks or scrolls. I had my favourite types of blocks with one click away and now I constantly have to search the block I am looking for.  Recolouring things can be a hassle because with a new update I can’t drag and drop because now you just have to click!  I learned so many hex codes just to avoid this problem!  WordPress still is a great tool, but at times it feels so clunky! As if I am dragging through mud! It’s worth it.. but I don’t have that much energy to give. So if I need to give extra energy things grow skewed quite fast. It’s a shame that I have to design my blog keeping things in mind such as “It’s not worth it to recolour that thing, cause that glitches out half the time”  or “better not add in that type of images as I will have to rescale it twice to make it fit”.  The fact that I have to click a random button before I can activate my WordPress Bell is another thing. I often find myself thinking.. I’ll do it later than, I can’t be bothered with the hassle right now!

WordPress Reader is another thing I have come to dislike! It is an easy way to check out other blogs fast, but it has also become an issue. To my knowledge it doesn’t show YouTube feeds. I recently tried to do YouTube but paused it because my health got in the way! I will now come back to it with an easier to handle model and a bit more flavour. Regardless, Reader doesn’t show my posts as pretty as I want them to be, my videos don’t show up, my images can look a bit more yankee, and the themes I work so hard on are not displayed.  It’s as if people see you trough a broken mirror. Sure it’s you but a lot of effort you made to put on make-up is kinda lost. They just “recognise” you. It also results in a lot of ghost liking, which once again feeds that stupid demon.

My Future

Despite the whole Reader thing, I am planning to do a new Restyle really soon! This current style has been here for almost a year now! Minus a month or so, some minor changes took place, but this will be a big one!  New theme new icons, new Pinkie!  Manager Pinkie will soon be upgraded by a ruler of Paradise with a new flavour. The VTuber theme will still be going but the moth will be replaced by something new!  Something a bit quirkier and something that is a HECK of a lot easier to build a VTuber model around. 

Something more unique as well. MothTubers are almost all lewdTubers , there is a group of them.. but all of them are pretty non seiso!   Which made me feel alien AGAIN! Besides that it was such a hassle to deal with those wings! It always looked fabricated to me as well. So when I went to have her commissioned instead.. I had change of heart and went for a theme that is much more in line with me rather than be a metaphor!  I can flavour it a bit more as well. The restyle will arrive later this week.

I stopped doing episodic content because with my health that has been the hardest to keep up!  That requires a schedule and I do not want that anymore. It gives me stress and on a mental level forces me to do content and currently I can not work under those circumstances.  So no more episodic reviews, and less reviews in general.  Rather than reviews, I’ll do rants or raves!  Me being super positive, absolutely loving something, or me just having fun burning things down to the ground! (Think AVGN style) It won’t be subtle.. but it will be a lot more fun to do. I am also trying to the same with something that utterly confuses or baffles me.

Now I know something isn’t  100% good or 100% bad or 100% weird and that’s also not what I am trying to achieve with these newer formats. I really hope there is someone that loves what I hate, and I am pretty sure there is someone who hates what I love and that to a certain extent they will have a point. However I feel we have become a bit too afraid to give our unbridled opinions. It’s time to either praise something, or burn it to the ground! The latter usually in a so bad that it’s good spirit though.. or at least so bad that it’s interesting. It will be a bit wacky.. but it will be fun!

Speaking of wacky , that will be much more a theme going forward.  While as a Moth Pinkie , before my second major burnout in a while I tried a more journalling type of approach to things, that doesn’t work for me. I do a journal with my Blogging Bestie,  Summer now!  Gaming in step by step content didn’t work for me though! I felt I either had to slow down my gaming, rush it or struggled with screenshots. It also made me serialise everything and I can’t do that.. my health is to fickle!

So instead you’ll see me tackle wacky games, anime or movies while also doing wackier things myself with my content in the form of stranger lists, more odd tags and of course more random content. I already did another Never Have I ever, with random prompts, post (for the near future)  I also made a weird new tag, which probably not a lot of people will be interested in joining..but that’s not what it is about.. it is about me doing quirky things in familiar settings.  A lot of it will be “fan stuff. Things like “If I made a Super Mario Movie” or how will this Anime couple look 20 years later. Stuff like if Kamina and LeLouche played a game of YuGiOh.. which one would win.  I will also just watch weird stuff and tell you how I feel.. Movies like Swiss Army Man, or me Playing a Cho Aniki game!

The STAFF will of course continue to do their down thing, but by growing bolder and bolder in my content I hope to inspire them step out of the box as well! The box is an illusion.. inside the box you can be both  dead or alive.. and while we don’t know if you are alive or dead inside your box.. you are both.. therefore you are dead in the box per definition!.. I guess not if it’s a translucent box or an oxygenated box but either way… don’t be shrödingers cat!  Step outside your box! There you can be alive for sure! And that will be a theme clear on Paradise.  Also I plan to use a bit more pink after the restyle! Just so you know!  Yay!  Onto 500 more pink posts! Then I will treat everyone to Pink cake!

By now Karen’s ego is really beginning to hurt.. and this is where you launch your true offensive, you see Karen’s goals are twofold! First of all she wants to inflate her own importance!  Because no one gives her compliments so she wants to be a queen in a store.. and secondly she loves free stuff. Decent human beings get gifts  from friends.. but Karen is not a decent human being! She is just frustration embodied in an average looking woman!  And I am being generous to Karen’s looks here!  Regardless of how hard you dominate.. Karen will not leave untill she gets a small victory..usually in the form of free stuff! So we will give her a laxative infused cupcake!  Because.. if you Karen me.. you ain’t gonna get your micro victory.. they will all be mine! So if I give you stuff.. it is to make you hurt more! Plus this ties in nicely with the next product Teehee!

For €40 or $45 you can get four  cute Mario and Luigi Cake toppers as well as an amazing warp pipe to serve them in!   I can not deduce if they can be placed in the oven.. so from the looks of them I would not…  but they probably can! They make 5cm cup cakes.. so you know Karen isn’t getting a whole lot of cupcakes!  Plus she needs to give the cake skewer and the cup back to you!  Which already is a thing Karen won’t like! It is time to fully mute Karen, you see handing back the cupcake cup and the topper was only to keep her in your office or at the desk so you can finish her off completely!  In this final step we will destroy her pride, intimidate her father and even do some classic blame shifting. You see when she asks you if you can use the bathroom you will point her to  the staff bathroom, under supervision so she can’t steal.. she will object at first but the laxative will soon convince her otherwise. As she agrees you send an employee with her to the staff bathroom where she will find this special toilet paper set from Japan. It is a gift set.. but well you can buy this gift for yourself and to break Karen’s spirit. 

With the fire down below burning properly she will see the gold leaf gift box these 8 rolls of toilet paper come in. She can see the craftsmanship of handmade and unique wrapping around every roll , as she has to break one open!  She is about to break into a 15 dollar roll of toilet paper while a staff member outsides can hear her do it!   She opens a roll to find the amazing unique designs .. one unique for every roll out there!   Each sheat of double or triple toilet paper of a material is so soft that it feels like a baby’s skin.  She thinks it might be extra thick so inspect it.. but no.. it is 2 or 3  sheets thick just.. you can get thicker in grocery stores.. it’s not scented for luxury either.. so it’s just the rest. No hiding behind a scent Karen.. you are washing away 5 dollars worth of toilet paper just from a single shit, and still she hears her stomach growling. She is starting to feel guilty and your victory is complete!

Broken Karen emerges from the toilet.. she just stumbles outside the store!  For a manager who can afford all this without any regrets she knows she is nothing!  She knows you do not care about the rules, you have money!  She knows she is not the center of your universe.. but all this weird japanese stuff is!   She will just come into your store or resort to do what she needs without complaint.. she has learned her lesson and is Karen no more.. now she is Kara.. that’s a superhero name right? She googled it?! Perhaps you will like her better now!

Karen’s spirit really will be flushed after she sees you burn money on this!

No more beans!

Karen has been defeated.. but your blood pressure is kind of spiking! While defeating Karen this way is fun, usually dialogue with one of her kind  makes you wish you had a spiky baseball bat instead that you could just swing into your face!  You need to unwind!  An average stress ball costs you about 50 cents.. that is so cheap I don’t even need to to  a price correction.  But for about 48 times more money you get this anti stress thing that looks like a coffee grinder. It is super tiny so it can’t grind any actual beans but according to Japan it will make you relaxed and I found the commercial at the end fairly funny because I don’t get why half of that commercial is there.. or why this product needs a commercial!  Gori Gori  though!  Check out the commercial down below!

I probably would get stressed from holding such a tiny thing! Might as well grind real coffee.. but I have servants for that!  Aaahhh now that’s an idea that makes me relaxed. In fact.. I might go take a princessy nap right now!  Enjoy your stay in Paradise my loyal subjects! Oyasumi!

A Dozen of Sunshine: The Sunshine Blogger Award 12

Hello my Little Lights, while I would not have minded keeping the Sunshine Blogger Awards I have gotten at 11, the lunacy number, McKenna tagged me in this post with some REALLY interesting questions. I won’t tag new people though as I already tagged well over 50 for these.  So feel free to take my questions I post at the end and turn them into a post, no need to even make it a Sunshine blogger award if you don’t want to! I will admit that my sister is way more chefworthy then I am and she has cooked me some great food in the past, however I would not say I am a slouch in the kitchen either.  My favourite dish to cook is a grilled liver, with bacon bits, onions and carrots, in a beer reduction and black peppercorn gravey/sauce.  With big oven baked potato chips.. like Flemish chips.. and served with a spinach and mushroom salad. My blood iron values aren’t always amazing so a meal like this really puts a spring back in my step and the o2 back in my blood. It’s pretty good, savourey and wholesome.

It’s pubfood.. but I love the wholesomeness that good pub food has to it.  I love to experiment when I cook as well.. each week I try to invent a new dish. Last week I made a grilled capsican and onion puree, with beef that I gave a crust of bread that I soaked into hot sauce before.. “Red Pepper Crusted beef I called it”  with some Broccoli and mushrooms to provide some earthy flavours. I hardly ever plan a dish.. I think about what flavours I want to taste tonight and then I think up a meal that would give me those flavours oftenly in a new way… doesn’t always work out though!

What’s your ideal simulation game like?

This one is tricky since I dont like simulation games all that much, it depends on what you call a simulation game though.. Do we call StarDew Valley a farming simulator?! I do love that game!  To me a simulator game has a simulator in the title OR Tycoon!  Not sure why.. but well if Stardew Valley is a sim.. it is pretty much the perfect one. If we go by my definition it would probably be something close to what Cooking Simulator is right now. The game can’t take itself too seriously and has to have some whimsey, you have to be able to do much about it.

Farming Simulator is huge in germany, back when I had a job/internship in video game reporting I wanted to Cologne Gamescom and kind of had to play it … but darn is this boring stuff. I want to get in a tractor and run over my pigs..well not really want that.. but I want to be able to do that if I so choose. In Cooking Simulator I can make a meal.. but I can also just try to light a candle with a Cremé Brulee burner thing and accidentally set the floor on fire.  I can feed cardboard people and go crazy and toss all the dishes…so in short I pretty much want it to simulate the ultimate murphy’s law effects of whatever I am simulating.

What should the next eeveelution type be? Feel free to choose a brand new type

Honestly I think they should make an Eevee Counterpart rather than a new eevee. Something that gets every type that Eevee doesn’t have.  Eevee currently basically has every typing that has a special attacking bias, with the physical evolutions not being available to it… even though Eeveelutions bounce between physical and special themselves a bit. So I would love to see a slug-like creature that can transform into the Steel, Ground, Rock, Bug , Fighting, Ghost and Dragon Type.  However since Eevee has long since became mascotte number 2, I doubt she will ever get competition.

In which case I would love a Sound Type Eevee.  Why Sound Type.. it’s a typing many of us have been asking for. It would be strong against the Steel and Fairy types to balance how powerful these types are a bit.  Sound types would be special attackers, which I think is a tradition they need to keep for the Eevee line .. to keep the dream of my slug alive.  It would evolve by turning your volume on your Switch to make.. in handheld mode when Eevee Levels up from battle.  It’s name would be Symphoneon. It would get moves like screech , Hyper Voice and Perish song and function a bit as a counterpart for Sylveon.. less bulky , harder hitting, speedier.. with a design that is more cool than cute.

I do like bubble tea, it isn’t very easy to get here as we have very limited locations that offer it.  Though locations are popping up more and more, finding one in the nearest city isn’t really a guarantee yet. If they do the flavours are limited. As such I usually save it as a convention treat. If I am at a convention I will get bubble tea and will go crazy for it. I really love the melon soda variety, maybe with some very citrusy flavoured bubbles or lychee flavoured bubbles. I’d love to see a green Melon soda with Water Melon bubbles combo if I could pick anything but I haven’t seen that one yet. I have seen either or though.. so in theory it should be possible for me to get that! One can always have hope Is there any flavour etiquette for these?! I do not know I usually just pick something!

How I feel , at a Bubble Tea Place!

When character customization is available, do you make your character look as close to you as possible or do you change things up?

Almost never, why would I restrict myself to my physical limitations when I can be anything.  Stardew Valley is a bit of an exception and in the sims I always make a character that is like me.. but I love to walk around with twin tails in video games..It isn’t very doable on the streets though. So it’s more like I’d make the Sweet Lolita version of me I want to be rather than the pink wearing Otaku I settle to be. 

On occasion I also roleplay and those characters tend to create something more evil looking. I do try to incorporate some of my features though, I love it if I can have glasses and I tend to make my characters fairly flat and not the prettiest.  Keep them human..it will also help with role playing them a bit. So actually I do a bit of a mix of what I want to be plus what I am.. both in a combination to scratch an itch yet not create a toxic unlivable self image for myself?!  I create hybrid me’s?! is that weird?! I don’t know anymore.. but that is how I create characters.

Do you have any non-gaming hobbies that overlap with gaming

I hate to kick in an open door but yeah I do have a non gaming hobby that overlaps with gaming… It’s called blogging. It overlaps because I talk a lot about games when I blog.. so I am pretty sure it counts. Healthy prevents me from picking up my YouTube right now BUT?!…..when I get back to that, that also has overlap.  I am such a huge geek that everything I do overlaps with gaming. When I go out with friends, I talk about anime and gaming. When I go to play crane games at the fair.. I use gamer tactics and when I go shopping, I love to buy pop figures.

I love gaming.. and other forms of geekdom..but all my cosplay has been video game characters..technically Megurine Luka is  a bit iffy… but I think she counts.  At anime conventions I spend a lot of time in the game room. Even one of my jobs had overlap with gaming.  When I bake a cake it looks like Pacman! .. There is no real overlap with gaming there though.. I just get the first piece before any of you can share my cake so it will always look like pacman!

What upcoming indie game are you most excited about?

I usually don’t really follow  the development of Indie Titles, a lot of the stuff I like either gets cancelled or we never hear from the people again so I tend to just look at what’s out there currently…early development is allowed of course. Yet there is one title I am super excited about, and it is actually a title McKenna turned me onto.and that game is Monster Harvest. This is basically a combination of Pokémon and StarDew Valley. I actively think about this game now!  It has no release date yet, but near the end of february the announced that coding was done and that seems like a good thing.. I assume that means all events are written and thus the story is finished?! But hey I do not know how coding works I just assume stuff here. I also really liked the idea of Battle Gem Ponies.. but the Demo of it was pretty terrible! I know it is in Pre-Alpha but man… if I see they have been making this for over a year I can not help but feel a bit anxious this might not be as good as I hoped.

Do you collect anything?

Do Sunshine Blogger Awards count? I have like 12 of them!   Just kidding though, I haven’t really been actively collecting anything recently.  I collect Pokémon Plushies and Unicorn plushies as well as other cute plushies but with a twist. I can’t just buy them in the store and put them in a closet, there has to be a story to it. Say I find a unicorn in a crane game while on a theme park adventure with friends… that’s a unicorn I can get. This does include gifts though, because gifts always come with a story. All my plushies come with a story , some more interesting than others but non of them were bought just because I think they were cute.

My Giant Micro Pig Plushie, Miss Genevieve Luckybutt, I got because I wrote a post on Plushies for OWLS and I wanted to set an example of supporting your favourite dealers you normally see at conventions.  She is the closest I got to “flat-out” store buying though.   I also do a similar thing with Pop Figures, each convention I usually do buy a Plushie and a Pop but never with an intention of finding a specific one.. I always let earlier conversations or events guide me.. I do prefer weird pops though.  I have a Bob Ross Funko for example with his Raccoon! 

What color pallet represents you?

So I think you can guess this one pretty much. We start with #FF89CD pink as a basis it’s a nice bubblegum like pink  in the center of my pallet,  to the left would be white and to the right black.  Then in between it’s basically just shades of pink with the  #ff89CD towards white side of the pallet, dealing with some pastels, while the right side towards the black deals with increasingly “hotter” shades of pink. Pink to me stands for identity.  I spend a lot of time in the hospital and in different hospitals.. and you begin to notice how they say ‘Good Morning <Miss Lastname>’  in this weird tone of utter nothingness. As if spat out by  a text randomiser almost. A translation of your patient number.. but eventually I became Pink girl… an identifier when  there are non… and so it became a trait and a symbol to me.. so my pallet is all sorts of pinks!

The developers of Crypt of the NecroDancer got to take on The Legend of Zelda with Cadence of Hyrule. What game would you like to see Cadence explore next?

Well we need a game that has some bitchin music  and maybe something that is slightly different gameplay wise to the other two games. So one of the options I would love to see is Cadence of  Mega City, a Megaman Cadence game. I think that would be a great candidate. More focussed on shooting but there is a lot of platforming in Megaman that required very specfic timing so I think that would be emulated as well. It would not be easy  but perhaps it could even be combined with the battle network gameplay.. while still being a legacy game.  I do see some options.

Another option that would make a lot of sense to me is Cadence of  Underground , covering Undertale as a game. I feel the battle system of undertale can be crossed with a bit of a Cadence style gameplay as well as it already lends itself to rhythm based dodging from the get go. Reason I am not picking Final Fantasy here by the way is because it already has it’s own rhythm games and plenty of other support. Undertale, having visited Switch, would be a fairly viable candidate as people really  remember it for it’s unique gameplay but it’s music as well. 

What’s your favorite shade of blue?

I wonder who will be the first to answer.. Light blue or Dark Blue to this!  So I need to keep track of the other people tagged!  My favourite shade of blue is Ruddy Blue.  Specifically the slightly faded variant on the Ruddy blue spectrum. Hex Code:  #8BB8E4. It is connected to the bill of the Ruddy Duck. This duck is also known as Oxyura jamaicensis, so let’s please call it the Ruddy Duck so I don’t have to type that again. It’s latin name .. and it Dutch name Rosse Stekelstaart, refer to it’s stiff tail. Rosse in dutch basically means ginger. So it’s a duck that is stiffer than most and kind of an outcast for being ginger! I am bound by all my laws to love this!   I love ducks! The colour that is based on a duck is therefore an amazing colour and Ruddy blue combines fairly well with pink! So cheers for Ruddy Blue!  My favourite shade of blue!

Name a Female Known for her Intelligence

Anime: Dragon Ball (and onwards) – Bulma 

No I shall not be calling her Bulma Briefs, because that is a dubismn, her real last name is pretty much unknown. The way her father is referred to as Dr Briefs in Japanese doesn’t mean it is his last name, in fact it seems to be quite the opposite. See.. I bet some of you did not know that!  Regardless, Bulma is a very well known character in the anime world and she is  smart as heck. She can copy technology just by glancing at it and in fact improve it.  From Saiyan space pods with artificial gravity chambers to building time machines, Bulma has the technical prowess that goes way beyond her years. Besides that Bulma is also very much in touch with her femininity and  she is clever in keeping her looks as well.  She abuses the dragonballs, using the radar she invented. However to keep her good looks, Dragon Ball Super Broly showed us that Bulma has been secretly wishing for youth as well.  To escape repercussions she has been wishing for alittle bit each time so her friends do not notice. This shows not only does she have a high IQ , her EQ and wits are up there as well.

Games: Breath of the Wild – Zelda

I do not like Breath of the Wild all the much. I think it should have been Breath of the Wild, a Hylian adventure..focussing on a new hero stuck in between times that Link is reincarnating and such…this adventure did not feel like a Legend of Zelda game to me and I did not care much for the gameplay. However this game easily has my favourite incarnation of Zelda of all times.. even though I think she should have been just a scholar with just enough of Zelda’s lineage in her blood to awaken her powers. That doesn’t change though that this character is an incredible scholar. Long before Zelda becomes useful as a Triforce user, her scholar skills help her modify and utilize the divine beasts. She is great at technology, but also botany and she also is a capable biologist. Even as a kid she was extremely gifted in polliticology , knowing exactly how and when to act like a princess. Her social skils and empathy could use some work though.. that’s not how you ask someone to eat a frog princess.

Anime: Flip Flappers- Papika

Originally my vote would have gone from Koto to Kyousougiga.. but the fact that I would need an entire paragraph just to explain who Koto is.. and which Koto I mean.. made me choose Papika instead. In many ways she is a better pick anyway! Not only is she strong as an ox, she fulfills many typically male tasks throughout Flip Flappers, while keeping her femininity still. And when I say.. Male tasks  I mean stuff like hunting, surfing, saving the damsel in distress. It is also implied that she is into characters of her own gender romantically.  Yet Papika never really falls into the tomboy trope. She still loves lots of plushies and bubbly stuff, despite having so much of the classic melee hero quirks, she veers from feeling like the classic archtype and that is why she is the one I respect the most. She does some respectable things, in her own unique way and I adore her for it. 

Games: The Witcher 3 – Ciri

Of course Ciri is more than just a woman of great physical strength, she posses ample abilities to exist alongside that, such as her abilities to travel to the world of Cyberpunk 2077 and not noticing the glitches!  Yet Ciri is above all an extremely capable warrior of great strength to me!  She can survive and adapt in any world and wield a multitude of weapons. Lifting an actual sword is heavy as heck, yet she swings it around like it is nothing.  Ciri’s physique also extends to amazing reflexes and she is rather durable as well showing once more she is super strong. Having access to royal blood gave Ciri a relatively easy way out.. but it is a path she never chose. She did things the hard way.  She honed her strength and depending on how you played through the game made some hard sacrifices as well.  Always enduring! She is a powerful woman for sure!

Name a Female who Powered through Difficult times

Anime: Sailor Moon – Usagi Tsukino

So.. this might be an odd choice! We all know Usagi is known for crying a lot and being comically frail at times. Yet I think I would like to mention her as a Powerful woman. Difficult times are often described with immense hardships, losing a relative, breaking up, losing your job. While Usagi also suffers through these, our beloved little crybaby also shows how difficult it can be at times just to power through a normal day. She demonstrates how painful it can be to fight with your friends, even if you know things will turn out alright again. She deals with a whole lot including small stuff! That is something I will always respect more than just someone being able to cope with one major thing. Usagi may be frail but she shows it that at times it is okay to cry!  It is okay to be upset at the tiny things! We don’t have to wear a mask.. if we stay trough to ourselves we can power through that way as well. That is why Usagi would be my pick!… Plus if we look at the major things happening to her… she earns it several times over anyway!

Games: Final Fantasy VI- Celes Chere

Not the only Final Fantasy Character on this list… and to be fair, I could have easily filled this post with just Final Fantasy characters.  I will stick to just two though! Celes Chere is a character that is unlocked around the ending of the first major story arc in Final Fantasy VI and probably my favourite Final Fantasy character ever.  She finds out that her loyalties have been in the wrong place, she has to deal with the terrible things she has done in the past and come to terms with her terrible history.  She could turn her conscious off for so long but now it is back.. we see Celes cope with a depression, a death wish even, thinking she is not deserving of positive things…. yet there is also a blossoming relationship in her life, which seems like a great thing.. but when you are in the place Celes is, getting affection can make you sink deeper. I have been there, where you feel so unworthy that all love feels like people are wasting time on you and you feel terrible for being in their live, for stealing their time.  Celes sees hope returning to her live.. just to see that very new world she had fought for be destroyed… literally! Then she has to fight to start over again. When you first meet Celes in the game.. she has no own theme yet.. unlike other characters.. she finds it along the way.. she is like a phoenix that rises from the ashes… and she does it twice in one game!

Name a Female you want to be Roommates/Friends with

Anime: Re:Zero – Rem

Irina had the right idea when she picked Tohru… who would have been my number one pick as well.. but Senpai beat me to this post so I had to adapt.  A maid of great physical strength and love… luckily I had two other options fairly easily available to me. Rem and Ram. Since I am the pink one , I would  really prefer Rem! The likeliness of me starting a romance from friendship is a bit smaller, but Irina told me not to give up hope and since she is a powerful female herself, I chose to believe her. Who knows!  Rem seems like a great friend, that needs to be won over first.. but then would die for her friends. She sacrifice herself in many ways… so I hope that this also applies to the moment the dishes need to be done!  I doubt Rem is as good of a maid as Tohru is, she is away from her duties a lot after all,   but she is still a great pick!  I would love to see her open up a bit more and she has some fragile traits which really draws me into characters.  I may not be able to be a hard worker but I can be a great listener and I can give good advice.. I think Rem and me could have a healthy friendship…as long as all the stuff wanting her dead doesn’t visit as well.

Games: Final Fantasy VII (Remake) – Aerith

I would love to have more plants in my house, but I am not very good at taking care of my plants.  Even if I love them they grow too fast  and die because they become too thin.. or I forget which plant is fake and which one is real and  scatterbrain that I am. I keep on watering a fake plant until the one dies. I need a flower girl in my life.  Aerith also can make you smile when the sky is grey and not the faintest bit of sunshine is to be seen.  She is positivity reincarnated… and in the Final Fantasy remake she is just adorably quirky as well!  Her swearing subtle when she almost falls from some slum rooftops.. her mimicking the horse like a laugh or a crime lord.  Even when she doesn’t intend to.. Aerith will turn your frown upside down. Now that the timeline can go anywhere.. there is even hope our friendship can last forever.  It is rare to encounter such a positive soul as Aerith so I think she would make a great roommate.. I can do the cooking, Rem can do the cleaning and Aerith can do the decorating! Our home will be awesome!

Name a Female who you think is a good Role Model

Anime: Märchen Mädchen – Hazuki Kagimura

I bet non of you expected this one to be on my list, did you know?!  This anime is very under-rated  in my opinion mostly due to production delays.. but if you watch it now it is a perfectly enjoyable anime.  It’s no masterpiece.. but not everything needs to be.. if you fill in the blanks yourself and try to see the positives it actually IS a very good show!   Hazuki on first glance doesn’t seem to be a great role model,  her power is kinda weird and she is your standard klutzy magical girl protagonist. I do not like the idea of Role Models all that much, it’s a slippery slope,  many people emulate role models and it causes this behavioural bias..at least towards the more common role models.  Hazuki however is all about the idea that you should not let others determine your life. Not destiny nor the will of others. You should write your own story and if you do not like where your own story is going , you should rewrite it.. even if people think it is a classic. Hazuki is a magical girl that draws her magical powers from the Fairy Tale Cinderella.. but to accept this power she must find her prince and go to the ball… she doesn’t want that.. she doesn’t want a prince!   So she rewrites her story.
So she can be the person she wants to be.. now that to me is a great role model! 

Games: Divinity Original Sin 2 – Lohse 

If you haven’t read what I said about the anime character, let me say again, that to me a role model isn’t someone to emulate.. a Role Model is someone who inspires you to be the best version of yourself. Irina is a Role Model because I like her style.. and I want to develop my own style just as much as she did hers, I do not want to BE Irina.  Nor be more similar to her.. I just feel inspired by what she does.  Lohse is a very similar tale.  She is possessed by a demon who is trying to make her into something she is not and her entire story is about overcoming that fight! How she can escape from her destiny and walk to the sound of her own ..lute. Lohse wants to sing and perform and through the magic of video games she can fight for that in any way she wants. She can be a warrior, she can be a caster, she can be a healer…. her journey is to become herself.. and herself alone.. but along the journey you as the player can determine who that is. She by far.. and I mean by FAAAAAR is the best character in divinity and I had a little crush on her as I played trough the game. I want to be like her.. not in the behavioral sense.. but our ideals line up nicely so she inspires me!

I can easily name some Niche female characters that deserve more attention.. but  just in being here as a female you deserve a spotlight!  You matter to me… the males do to of course.. but for this tag the females matter just a little bit more!  Whether it is because you came up with this tag, joined the tag or are curious about the tag,  you deserve just as much attention and love as the women I just shouted out.  By being here.. you  are a minecraft block in my house! If you think a single block isn’t all that important in the big picture.. build a pretty house in Minecraft.. then take out a random block and shove dirt in there!  Things do not feel right after that, and that’s why that block.. and you deserve a spotlight.  While we may only influence each other on a very small scale.. or while you may not feel you are relevant at whatever place you hold in this world… you matter!  You being there and being you matters.. in all your womanhood!

The Sound of Stupid!

Hello Little Lights, my old friends!  I have kept silent long enough! But there is a huge problem in our community! It is rotten to the core!  Rotten indeed.. you see our blogging scene is filled with fake fans!  Not just of anime who only watched Naruto, Dragon Ball Z , Sailor Moon and whatever else was on that guys list.. but also  fake gamers!  Like Naja who mostly plays Otome games or Irina who almost exclusively plays RPG’s .. or me.. who didn’t  denounce Pokémon Sword and Shield for having bad tree textures.  But our community is more rotten than that my little Lights… among us are FAKE OXYGEN FANS!

You see Oxygen is one of the most important elements in our nature and we need the dioxide variant to breath!  We also have the element in our water, as it is the O in H2O. 
But just because you breathe and need water doesn’t make you a real fan of oxygen!  You are all friggin ‘N(O2)rmies! Stay the fuck away from my air! Many of you do not even know of Ozone or its chemical formula , it’s O3.. that is a whole extra O!  If you have never thought about Ozone … you are a fake fan! You do not deserve O2 if you can not appreciate O3!

I am sure many people will take this message out of context and say “Well but you need to breathe as well so if you breathe O2 as well you’re just a fake fan as all of us”. To that I say .. No I specifically said if you only like O2 and H20 … you can still like them.. but if these are the only oxygen combinations you are font of … you ARE a fake fan and you need to stay away from my element!  I am a true fun! Take all of those environmental hippies for example trying to reduce CO2 output! See O2!  That is just as much as the air we breathe! A true fan can see the beauty of these precious molecules while a fake fan.. trying to “save the earth” is misled by the trend .. and the popular stuff! Following public opinion like sheep! Baaah! Choke on that you N(O2)rmies!Now I hear what you are saying.. if O2 is healthier than NO2 .. why make a problem about it? It makes people happy right?!  Everyone should be happy?! Wrong!  Companies will take examples of your cause to reduce CO2 in the atmosphere and those who can appreciate it will get less content because you n(O2)rmies just want to breathe? Fudge that shit! You are ruining Oxygen for the true fans!

Here is a take you might dislike… but it is the truth! I love oxygen and I need to preserve my Fandom!  Keep it pure for those who are really fans!  If you do not smoke you might just be to much of a casual to call yourself a true oxygen fan!  You see I am sick and tired of the fact that people say, “Oh I love breathing oxygen so much!, without knowing what oxygen really is and what it is in?!” People say cigarette tar is bad for example.. but let’s take a look at the chemical formula! N(O2)rmies just think smoking is bad.. because it takes your breath away .. but that 6 doesn’t lie!  It may be poisonous but a real fan would make a few sacrifices for their fandom!

Now I get that some people may not have the ability to hold such much scientific prowess as I just displayed, but that does not excuse you from just assuming!  You know you can google all these things! Yet if there is one thing I hate more than  the feeble minded and the lazy.. it is the people who say they are a fan of oxygen and then go diving or something… I am not talking about scuba diving.. but those posers that swim underwater while holding their breath!  If you do that as a hobby, you deny yourself from Oxygen.. and you simply do not breathe enough of it to be called a true fan! Why would you deny yourself the pleasure by having other hobbies beside breathing!  These people have their opinion about oxygen as well.. they will determine what gas mixture goes into that scuba tank eventually! While they are no where near as versed into breathing as me! You see .. I never stop breathing.. even if I have the hiccups I just keep breathing because.. I am a true fan!\

N(O2)rmies also try to find love.. love that takes their breath away! If you pursue a love like that… you are also a fake fan! Kissing in general is not really great for how much oxygen you can enjoy either!  So a true fan knows they better not do that!  If you drive a car that is not powered by NOS you are a fake fan of oxygen!  Yes, everything gets better with extra oxygen! Can you imagine if this was about an anime fandom… saying you do not need to drive with NOS is like saying that you do not need to see Tetsuko no Tabi to be an anime fan! I mean come on! Everyone knows if you haven’t watched Tetsuko no Tabi you are a poser in the anime world.. so why would you drive your car around without NOS.

Speaking of Nos.. people who choose a needle over gas at the dentist’s office are posers as well.  If you get a chance to use oxygen and you refuse.. You are a fake fan! Saying I don’t need those unhealthy varients of Oxygen is like saying.. I mostly play Otome games in the world of gaming… if you want to be the laughing stock of the oxygen world go ahead but don’t be surprised if people call you out for it! You act like a poser.. and just like we are allowed to call out False Valour, we are allowed to call out fake appreciation!  Think of the consequences these N(O2)rmies can do the the oxygen world. 

They will fill in polls that tell you they don’t want to buy NOS or use gas at the dentist office. So whatever garage you use, or dentist office might listen to those forms and stock up less NOS for us to enjoy!  That means that the true fan is being hurt because fake fans think It is not that necessary! They ruin the oxygen industry resulting in more and more casual oxygen products flooding the market with little to nothing interesting coming out for the true fan! Who can appreciate all facets of oxygen! We can not have that.. so I will ask people to start a petition for me.. to me. I have been banned from the site for having too many hot takes!  But the people can not silence me I will fight on! Together we can take oxygen back from the N(O2)rmies and claim back what we love! Yes they may die.. but fake fans deserve nothing less.

Even if you disagree with this take, you at least have seen that I am a special snowflake that knows more about Oxygen than you do, so whatever arguement you may bring in is worthless.. I have more knowledge of the fandom and therefore deserve higher status in the oxygen fandom. Segregation is important because it gives me self esteems. I enjoy a openly available entertainment product more than others therefore I am your superior, and inferior opinions will not weigh as heavy! So feel free to argue with me all you want.. but if you did not know the chemical composition of tar .. by head.. you will only prove my point that there is always someone more deserving of your oxygen than you.. and that person is me!  I am saying this because I want people to validate me and respect me.. for being brave and having enjoyed so much oxygen!  I also only watch dubbed anime! It is superior because dubs costs twice the oxygen!

My lung capacity is 7.8 liters of air.. which means I am equipped better than enjoy oxygen more than people who have lower lung capacity! Quantity is super important! So what you have a 9 to 6 job, three children and some friends you need to entertain..  your other priorities do not excuse you from being a fake fan!  I on the other hand did altitude training.. simply to increase my lung capacity! On my mothers birthday I was training at high altitude…. at my grandpa’s funeral.. I was receiving oxygen preprates. I could have fed my kid a sandwich after school but instead  I went street racing just so I could burn some NOS! It’s called priorities, people! A true fan always has their priorities  at their fandom never at something else..  One day I hope to become Vegetable so enjoying oxygen is the only thing I do.. only then will I achieve a status higher than I already have.. and if you have a status below me.. in the hierarchy I explained earlier.. do  not bother to disagree. I don’t react to   P(O2)sers.

My sweet little lights, let it be known that this post in no way reflects how I truly feel. From the ground of my heart I hope that you thought the little text I wrote was dumb… because this … is how I see gatekeepers.  What they are spouting is THIS dumb.  No matter what you gatekeep for. The arguments are always the same and I tried to make these points stand out from my fake little rant as well.  It’s all empty semantics..and in a way anime can be just as needed as oxygen!  Anime or games are a form of entertainment, everyone needs entertainment. People are allowed to like the entertainment they enjoy and call themselves fans of it.  I am pretty sure there are a lot of games of throne fans that do not know how to spell Daenerys Targaryn, who the frick cares.   Just because you like something does not give you the right to ruin an entertainment product for others.

I am happy that Summer is interested in my Pokémon posts even if she has little experience, I am not afraid that her love for mobile games might spawn a pokémon fishing game I have no personal interest in.. good for her and the people who would be into that stuff. The industry does not cater to your special snowflake; it caters to all of us.. Just like how trees and greens produce oxygen for all of us without bias so do the industries. Yes more people embrace the genre of Shonen and yes that might make people more likely to produce that stuff… but Gatekeeping will only make that worse.   If you tell a “normie” to fuck of from your fandom, that normie will have only watched Shonen.. you denied him or her that bridge from advancing. As a result he will just stick to Naruto or My Hero Academia, meanwhile the next generation comes in.. whom you also call fake and once again they never move past Shonen because people do not encourage them to!

This is not where that cycle ends because Naruto Fan Boy  of Generation 2.. never watched anything else so he recommends only the stuff you find labelled as “fake”   to a new generation. Generation 3 as a result lives in a shonen bubble.. because you alienated generation 2 through gatekeeping. So Gatekeeping enlarges the very concept you are trying to fight. You are not very intelligent if you gate-keep in my opinion. You cause segregation, between real and fake.. or as I prefer it Casual and Hardcore.  Say you succeed in your mission .. make the division officially acknowledge.. which side do you think will get the media?!  It’s not that casuals are not open for other anime.. that causes this divide.. it is you telling.. These people who only watch Naruto and Digimon are a different demographic than you are.  One demographic is severely larger than the other.. so if gatekeeping is successful.. which side of the coin will land face up?!

Anime is for everyone! Games are for everyone and Oxygen is for everyone! It’s all products we can get entertainment from. It’s great if you are able to think for yourself and follow your own opinions and make your own choices despite what is popular, I applaud that.. but that doesn’t make those people colouring inside the lines worth less than you.. at best they might be slightly less interesting or strong willed.. but that doesn’t make them undeserving of great content. I have a few Dragon Ball fans who mostly watch casual stuff.. but I enjoy discussing Toriyama’s work with them very much! They got so much insight.  Same goes for games. I know nothing of Otome games but I find Naja’s insights in them often much more cleverly written and inspiring than someone who only played “I love you Colonel Sanders” , but Fortnite and Minecraft and Breath of the Wild as well. Both can lead to great interactions .. but different. Both are super valid energies to enjoy! No one’s opinion or way to handle this is ever the correct way. We all have various wants and needs and that is why anime became so diverse in the first place.. if you invalidate others and map out what a true fan should be like.. you are only creating a new form of casual.

Don’t gatekeep! You will sound as dumb as me in this article! Don’t be like me! Yet if you feel you are more entitled to call yourself an anime fan, if you feel you are more of a gamer than others.. or if you consider yourself a superior in your fandom in any way… I do not mind if you unfollow me!  We are all equals and no matter if it is books, anime games or even lewd drawings we are all just seeking entertainment, and we are not you so we do it in our own way! Let everyone do their thing in their own way!  This opens up the argument that you destroy other people’s hobbies as your entertainment and we should let you, but in that case I think you dear gatekeeper are just a shitty person! I rather hang out with the fake fans then! But I swear to you guys! I am a real fan!

It is here! My First YouTube Video! Pinkie Ningennoga goes Live!

Hello my little lights! It is time today for a shameless self plug! I have expanded beyond just WordPress and finally started my life as a VTuber. Well the non streaming variant of that at least. I started making YouTube Videos as a Virtual presence in pursuit of my dream! Yesterday my first post went live! So today I celebrate by taking a day off from content creation and just making you aware of my video!

So tell us about this “Video” You Made

Why certainly, Snary me, pretending to be my readers! It isn’t anything all that special really! Just an introduction video! No me playing any games yet! I have noticed that a few VTubers I adore do this character sheet kind of thing, filling in one of those “friendship book pages” of old as it where! The one you let all your friends sign in which they would tell their favourite food, their favourite colour and stuff! It does that whole thing. Not only do my superior peers do that , it will also help people get a good grasp of me as a creator and the retro vibe might actually fit my plans really really well! So i just went for it! It was Sugoi to make! The moment I finally made my Thumbnail felt so liberating. I finally took a step towards my dream!

I made the video using nothing but free software. The only thing I do use that is paid is Photoshop but that ws a gift from a friend. All the images I made can be made in Gimp or any free software that allows you to create transparent background images and use different layers, whatever you prefer. For the Video Editing Software I use a program called Da Vinci Resolve , which despite a few annoying flaws I have really taken a shine through as my editing journey started. It has so much features and it is relatively light to run as well! As long as I can get used to the fact that Audio and Movie tracks are always synchronized I will do a lot better with my videos in the future as well! It has a professional version and a free version, but the options on the free version are amazing already! I can green screen, I can colour correct do some pretty amazing things I haven’t even begun to discover yet!

My model is made with a program called VRoid Studio. Which is a free Program that is available on Steam! It allows you to 3d draw on a puppet and make it your own! With a whole website of extra tools being available on VRoid Hub. You can design your own clothes or buy one.. I did a combination! I found a free one I liked as a basis and drew my own signature outfit onto it! While it took me a fair while to get this done I spend relatively little time wading through tutorials. Overall I might have watched about an hour or so. Probably less! I had a lot of fun experimenting. It isn’t flawless and I already updated my model to version 1.1 after my last first two videos, but that is the beauty of this software, by seeing your model in motion you get a better idea where it’s flaws are. And you can fix it more natural.. just by being active and creating! That is a style that I really REALLY like to learn with! So while you may see it in the video you can also watch me develop as I get into this more and more and I think that tells a story as well! I want to document that journey so that is mentioned in this video as well.

Wow myself making these titles! Rude! Though also not entirely untrue! I had some struggles with making the first video. The problem lies in the last two programs I use, 3Tene to make my model move. Which is another great tool! It is like Facerig, but it works for free! No water marks and allows for way easier customisation. It allows you to register your self moving the character and allows for a lot of poses and actions, and it comes with a lot of fun anime effects! The problem though! It supports a mouth that moves either based on your webcam OR Your Microphone. However My voice isn’t reliable due to my muscle issues and it is something I really hate so I use text to Speech! Which brings a lot of problems in the mix! Luckily I have found that if I use my text to speech program,do the edit in Resolve, I can use the recorder function of my phone to record that .. and then I add it to my capture software to fairly okay results!

Then there is a problem in overlaying the mute video and the actual words being said in the main project as well! For this I use a lot of timers. I record dead air with the Audio recorder making an audible noise as I start the actual audio track. Then when I record my avatar I make her look up or down quickly on the moment i head the click and then I try to sync up my time by counting the seconds of dead air and matching it up! I think 3tene does allow me to record audio as well but I am not sure! I will figure that out as I go! I will make it work! I need to find a way to add cuts though! That will make things a bit easier! Maybe add in some cool effect or change camera perspective at certain intervals. That is just stuff I need to tinker with though! The text to speech program I use is called Balabolka by the way! It is also whatever other text to speech things you have installed, but is very easy to use! Pretty good!

Patience young Padawan! I worked hard on this video, I’d say somewhere between 15 and 20 hours went into making this (though that does include a fair bit of concept creating time as well). I had a blast making this and I want people to know where it comes from! It will be another bit of humble beginnings! But that does mean I really will look to you all to help me out here! Pinkie Thinks & Sings: A Reflection and Song About Pursuing Content Creator Happiness

Hello little lights, today I wanted to talk to you about things that have been going on in my life. I failed to do a few uploads because I was busy chasing new projects.  This post is a little update on how I am doing, What I am trying to do, and how I am trying to achieve it. It will go trough a few struggles I have been going trough with myself, the community and WordPress,  as well as showing I am still working on realising my dream.

I am a nobody

This week, I got seriously burned on social media!  I try to get more into it, playing these games people do where people assess you or interact with your platform, as well as I have tried reacting to people!  However, due to my health being so frail over the past two weeks I have also been sleeping a lot and I barely manage to create my own content, let alone visit all your amazing content.  I had little focus because I am medicated into being super groggy or in a lot of pain due to my muscles going quite volatile on me!  Seeing people interact with each other on twitter usually cheers me up! Yet in a bad head space I realised, while people love to play these games with each other it is extremely rare for people to interact with me. Which is totally fair as I haven’t been always as sociable as I like either, but people don’t seem to really interact with those “who do you think Pinkie is”  kind of posts. From my bad headspace, I took that the wrong way and created a super toxic situation for myself convincing nobody cared for me. 

I know this to be untrue because my health updates got met with lots of love and sympathy, but you know that little devil on my shoulder explained that as, “they don’t care about you, they are just being polite and care about being deemed polite, see if everything is fine and dandy no one wants to interact with you”. I know I am the odd duck in the anime community, I might not even be truly a part of the anime community as that is not my main content but I always believed by simply being a geek, I’d also belong. Maybe I was wrong with that, maybe anime is truly the only things that binds us and by toning my anime content down I have estranged myself from you all. I need to be more social but for some reason my head is so full of stuff, Yet I struggle! Where do I belong?! I do not know and the past two weeks made me question everything. I do know you all are important to me even if I can’t always show it though!  So maybe that goes around the same way, I can not assume you do not care, that is the devil talking! But he is making me really sick lately!  I barely was able to get out of bed anymore!

I am me

Being confronted with my physical weakness and my sickness these past two weeks made me feel glum, the devil was there to devalue you all… or more accurately, devalue myself in correlation to how I would like you guys to see me. I want to do more anime content, but back pains are always present, just watching something doesn’t take away my pain, I  need to be engaged in a game or a project to shut it of properly.  Even then I just have a laptop, if I need to lay down and just watch something because the pain is to much, the laptop needs to be set up for that and the tv offers an easier solution.  If I want to watch anime I constantly need to lean over to make screen captures… and I can’t.. I am pain… my heart has been kind of poorly functioning properly.. it’s weak. Oftenly giving me much lower blood pressure and then I feel sick like a dog,  translating in my head can be overwhelming then.  So all in all, anime hasn’t been my most suited media right now!  Plus then there is my dream.

 My writing isn’t the most accepted. It is a lot quirkier, than some of my more successful colleagues out there. This on the one hand gives me validation, I am unique so I have a right to exist. I am known in the blogosphere as well and I love that.  Yet the devil keeps questioning on how sincere we all are. I know a lot of you are sincere in their interactions towards me, but how many would truly notice if I got to sick to blog and missed a week? I can not answer that question and I will never be able to!  How many would send me a message with “Are you well?” out of their own accord?! I sometimes wonder about that, the devil says not a lot.. but cheerful little moth self tells me, perhaps those people just do not want to bother you, they just think they are bloggers to you after all. I can never know how you think about me, unless directly told.. but that also means that I can not adapt me to be someone that is liked more, even if directly told, what about the silent ones! They have a voice as well! So I never can answer what is the best me for you all… so I just have to be the me that I truly am and take the pain when it’s not good enough and revel in the joy for when it is!   That is also why I am doing let’s plays and Nuzlockes now! I have a lot of fun playing those!  If that interests people that is great , if it doesn’t, at least I had fun! So while I know my new content isn’t as well received as some other posts.. it is something I have to do to be able to get up in the morning.

I am more than a Blogger

I have told several times that this blog was made because I do not have a strong voice, I can talk okay, but I can’t talk constantly, sometimes I just can’t bring out words and only whisper. I always saw that as a quality that will keep me off YouTube forever, and started my blog to be the “voice free” version of that. Yet as I grow I realise that this medium has its limitations, while I do love blogging a part of me feels as if my dream isn’t being fulfilled. Imagine asking your parents for a dog, but all you get is a Hamster.   While you love Fluffy Whiskerson with whole your heart and are super grateful to your parents for giving you this great addition in your live, it doesn’t take away that need deep inside you to play fetch with something, go on walks with a loyal quadruped that comes back to you when you call it’s name. Blogging is my hamster. I treasure it deeply.. but some things I want to do as a creator I can not do as a blogger. While my limitations on YouTube are ample, I lack proper materials for video editing, I lack the voice and the self promoting skills to make that work will probably prevent me from ever growing the size I am on here I feel as if I need to pursue it still as a bucket list thing of sorts.

I am a gamer that happens to like anime but due to my connection to OWLS I started fitting anime content in my blogging content as well, Pokémon Gaming got expanded as well as I realised more content made me happier. However I am now at a point where it has “stranded” me. Not in terms of content creation but in turns of development. Most of my readers are tied together by anime, and while I do enjoy anime, I do not think that is what binds me to you guys! Due to my content selection, I feel what binds “us” is WordPress. We share this amazing platform to show our ideas and we give each other time because we show up in each others Reader. That is fine because it connects us through a joined hobby! Writing! And I love you all for being there for me and showing off your amazing blogs! Yet I am like the little Mermaid here!

Who am I?!

Do not mistake this for me quitting blogging! I am merely expanding! I will not quit nor even take a break! However, I am in the pursuit of Happiness for myself and that might mean that I will one day rather work on a YouTube Video than post a blog! The other day I might photoshop over some scenes in an iconic song and post a blog 7 hours later than I normally would! I am overwhelmed, I am not doing to great mentally and physically.. but those limitations are just as much a part of me than my dreams. Yes I would love to give you content each day.. but if my heart can’t handle it, if I am in to much pain, that is a part of me I have to accept just as much as that part that says blogging alone isn’t enough! That is alright!I can’t force my heart to beat correctly for the sake of content as much I want. I can’t make my muscles relax on days anime content is supposed to released and I can’t always smile the sorrows away sometimes I just need to accept my lesser parts as well. And YouTube offers a more creative outlet to forget those pains.

Monday February 1st I will start with a long project of going to hospitals! Medicine, Psychology and later on even surgery will all be part of this and I do not know how it will effect me! I might have very rotten days where I need to stay in bed, or stay at the Hospital which is far away for me. It is so I can be my true self however, and live a much healthier, happy live, in that spirit I decided to already start taking a bit more liberty with content creation schedules! Do stick with me though becauseI have plenty of stuff left to tell!

As for you my little lights, I have seen a lot of bloggers talking about the importance of consistency to let your blog grow and be successful! Be sure to never let that overshadow yourself however! You are the most important element to your blog! Without you , there is no blog or no content what so ever. So if you want to try something else to see if it makes you happy, be it podcasts, YouTube or heck even pro-gaming or making memes or whatever. Don’t be afraid to chase a dream! Your dreams can be petty! Yes I would love a simp of my own which sounds petty but there are reasons I assure you! However that is to long of a story to still tell! By doing a lot of research I found a good text to speech program so I can get my words out there, I found a free 3d model program, free editing software and even free face rigging software! It will not get me to where I want, but it will help me start the chase! I am more than then what I create! I am also what I dream about and I am also defined by the things I can not do! Only by accepting it all will I find my true happy place and my true Paradise!

Never Have I Ever: Eaten Bugs?

Chigau! Wrong!  I have eaten bugs on a few occasions. I am very convinced someone has to try and experience everything in their life… though with my luck I won’t jump out of planes and stuff or get cattle prodded or something.  I am extremely open minded about food!  The first time I ate  bugs I was at a wholesale store, they had  this “try our mealworms sign”  out and I was like.. Okay?! Mom looked at me like I had gotten insane but I took a little spoon of Mealworms.. they could have used a dash of salt.  They kind of taste like harder browner its of crisp/potato chips you find at the bottom of the bag. I bet they would taste nice with some chili flakes or maybe a caramel! It needed some love!  I have also eaten a scorpion like that.. it was actually kinda tasty! It had a bit of a shrimpy taste.. It also had a bit of a popcorny feel! It would be great with loads of butter!

I only once paid to eat bugs! It’s in this coffee place called Bagels and Beans. It had a mealworm bagel!  It had some Avocado and sundried tomatoes on it and a locust! I did not like the taste of the locust as much. The experience kind of reminded me of slightly burned walnut covered in that popcorn skin that gets everywhere. The mealworms with Avocado Tomato and a bit of spread was pretty nice though! It’s very emision friendly protein as well and I could see myself eating it again! It is really overpriced though to eat as a daily meal and  I don’t like the popcorn skin feeling afterwards too much. Maybe a thick butter sauce would fix that by coating them!  Who knows! Never Have I Ever: Fallen Down In Public


HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Super Chigau! I’ve fallen down a LOT in public! Whether that was from me being knocked unconscious during gym class and plummeting to the earth, or just trippin on my own feet! That was before I got my virtual wings though!  I think I have done every kind of falling known to man, crashing, tripping, plummeting and diving.  I slammed down hard at the Doge Palace in Venice, I tumbled of a staircase in Notre Dame (and decided it would be wise not to climb up further)  and biked off a hill due to a sneeze.. and mild intoxication and fell into the fence of a petting zoo!  Much to the children’s entertainment! 

 My best known fall though was around the time of Mardi Gras, the southern provinces of the Netherlands celebrate “Carneval” then which is like Carnival.. but less slutty and with a lot of Halloween things added such as the Candy and the silly costumes. It’s a season though from the 11th of November until somewhere in Februari we have several parties and occasions. I was at one of these parties when one of our province’s biggest local artist was performing their music on stage.  They invited  people to dance in the background on the stage and I could go! 

It was a song called Druk Druk Druk (Which I will leave down below)  and we had to run around the stage like crazy!  Yay atmosphere! However I tripped on the music installation and flew a bit  landing face first on the middle of the stage just behind the two singers.  The music cutting out because I tripped on a cable and ripped it out.. well not the entire music but it sure as heck got a lot softer!  A few friends picked me up and carried me off stage. My glasses looked a bit dishevelled and my foot hurt but my pride was hurt even more when the group had to take a small intermission after that song to get the music fixed.  Then I saw the thing was being filmed for local televisions! Guess who never told THAT fact to her mom and dad! The first day I had to work after I was getting lunch in my break and the woman at the register asked me if I was the one that fell on stage in the other town!

Never Have I Ever : Scrolled too far on Someone else’s camera roll and saw a picture I REALLY wasn’t supposed to? 

I solemnly swear I have never done this! They mean nudy shots or something right?!  My friends both offline and online often refer to me as a Panda. Which means I don’t get laid.. but I am known for my actual ability to avoid sexual context. It’s like a super power or something! People can be watching a porn in a room and I walk in and I spill my drink on me and have to go to the bathroom before noticing porn was on!  And yes that actually happened. People tried to show me hentai drawings and I got a bug into my eyes!   One time the group decided to watch Hentai together, which I found a super weird thing to do, for “comedy” and I objected but lost the vote!  But their internet provider was doing maintenance at the time! I went home a bit earlier due to not feeling too great and the mindset of the evening being a bit to “vagrant” to me and as soon as I sent them a text I got home , their internet had come back. 

The most blatant one was that I somehow completely zoned out in a van while a guy was being .. stimulated by his girlfriend next to me!   I was quite drunk after a party and was just looking at some footage I took of the party and trying to play Angry Birds (it was a while ago yes) I was very frustrated I could not play Angry Birds dead drunk.. but I only found out that happened right next to me a whole year later! I did not sleep in the same room as them but apparently they  slept next to a guy and just moved a closet in between him and them so they could hump as well.. he  could still hear them though and then they looked at me and said that I had seen stuff.. and I have not seen a thing.. they told me that was strange since they weren’t subtle!  So your phone is safe with me! It might explode if I get near one of those photos but it will never show me your naughty pics!

Never Have I Ever:  Been Carried Out of a Bar

Questionable, I have never been thrown out of a bar, nor have I passed out in one. I have been to a bar where people needed to assist me outside because I got so drunk. Once on by birthday , none of my friends would make time for me , one of them preferred to go to a party that was thrown by a friend’s sisters, best friend. That was more important than my Birthday, another said he did not want to come because he just not felt like it! They all cancelled at the last minute and cancelled petty! So only one friend and his cousin showed.. It felt like a pity party and I bought booze for everyone and I drank it all out of feeling miserable that I had been blown off!  I got so drunk people put funny hats on me and posed for pictures. Imagine “Weekend at Bernie’s”.. but drunk me! I do have an autopilot so if you tell me to go home , I neatly go sit in your car ..but I may have needed a bit of guidance!  Also got pneumonia for sitting in the outside area of the club so much! 

Only once WOULD I have ever been kicked out of a bar.  This girl thought I made out with her boyfriend and attacked me.. I could have been reasonable but she knocked the drink out of my hand and grabbed and wrinkled my outfit! I headbutted her in the face!  She stumbled outside and told me to come at her there.. security was surely coming to kick us out. She was challenging me  and indeed security was approaching… I walked to the bar and grabbed a half empty bottle of drink someone left. Security asked me if I was fighting this girl and I denied it saying I was drinking here for a while showing my half empty bottle. They checked if I was raging or drunk and I was neither , I was polite with them and  told them  I would leave if they had to be sure.. I would understand but if I could please tell my friends about the misunderstanding because I would not be able to go home otherwise. I then told them she mistook me for someone else earlier as well.. so the one who fought probably looked like me. They said it was okay and they believed me .. I never caused trouble and if people bother me I can always come to them… not much later they threw out a girl that looked like me a fair bit. For some reason she was super angry and aggressive as well.

Never Have I Ever : Thrown up in a Roller Coaster

I have never actually thrown up in a Roller Coaster. I have thrown up in a fair bit of public places though. I have been prone to spells of travel sickness, on busses and even more so boats.  I have also thrown up in one of these spinny theme park rides which sorts of counts I guess?!  I don’t handle spinning all that well. One time we got to a theme park and it was quite deserted.. Me and my friend always visit theme parks in the off -season on weekdays to get a quiet experience.  Wanting to go on a spinny ride . I  agreed, hoping it would not last too long.. it was one of those older rides.. so not one that is on a timer but one that can be stopped and manipulated like the ones at the fair. … then the guy in the cabin got a phone call. The ride lasted on and on!  Luckily my friend rode in another spinny thing as me!   I knew what time it was so I cleared out my backpack of stuff.. and got a new backpack in the gift store a bit later. 

The one time that got me into trouble though is when I actually faked vomiting.  We were going to a theme park we visited a lot and we were on this Log Ride/ Water Coaster like thing and we always had a competition on who could make the silliest action photo. I brought one of those squeeze yoghurt things.. some orange juice and some M&M’s.  Just before the action photo I put it all in my mouth mixed it up and spit it out at the camera. The result was a thickish yellowish fluid with some green and  brown chunks (yes I sorted them for believability )  the result.. was convincing enough! The people did not really appreciate the joke though! I am still looking for a way to fake rainbow vomit! 

This was fun!  Not all that embarrassing though! I might do this one again! Good Content!

The Paradise Weekly Gazette 8 (11th to 17th Januari)

My dearest little lights, another week came and went!  While the blog still is quieter than it used to be this week, there has been a bit of an increase since last week so we are well on our way of establishing myself as a moth!  Big things loom on the horizon as I have been trying and very much failing so far to make a live 2d model of myself!  I might really need to hire someone for that!  Or get a lot better at making a model!  So far I haven’t even been able to really make shapes though! Anyway let’s check what happened last week!

This week I tried to bring a bit more diversity , and it resulted in some nice interactions!  I never expected to find a fan of Princess Peachie’s  YouTube Channel here but I did! That was pretty amazing! The reactor has been following me for a while but we haven’t interacted that much so that was a definite win!  I also had a nice amount of reactions on my “Gadgets/Toys” blog!  So all in all I am a happy moth!  So let’s put everything in a row in case you missed it! I am still building supplies of content to make blogging a bit easier, I have a lot of stuff done already, like 5 other episodes of my Moemon Nuzlocke and four more Final Fantasy VI Rom Hack posts. They won’t all come out next week though but it offers me so much security! I am having a lot of fun making those posts! I am really doing what I want to do! I haven’t been in the mood to watch lots of anime recently, but I have continued watching Cowboy Bebop so a post on that will come out next week for sure! I might do another Zombie Land Saga episode as well! Slowly picking that up after my burnout!  I have made some random topic content again, as I would play “Never Have I Ever” on some random website I found, and I will keep a promise to a Patron and turn them into a Pokémon!  I am also telling you about another of my Favourite YouTube series.. this one has to do with cards!  So yay! Content surplus!  I only have to write the YouTube one still!

Camp Coconut Updates

The Coconuts have been nice and quiet! They have been cleaning up the island after the whole Mario Kart Race we had going on last week!  The Woo Woo Fishy Coconut actually won that race and got a nice little trophy handed to it by King Coconut himself! They said it was the most beautiful day in their Coconut lives, which isn’t that surprising as they haven’t existed for too long!   This little Coconut , a patron to the island,  has since taken a bit of an ego! Fish and Dragon Koi’s are left everywhere for Sunny to clean up! It uses it to tell stories about great catches and always brings up the race results! The Island Guests seem to be loving the little drupe’s tales though!

Pinkie Away From Paradise

So I decided to rename this passage because Lockdown has been continued here!  It’s dangerous to go outside.. stay in!  Since I do have weaker lungs then most I have been quite reclusive last week! That pretty much means I have been glued to my keyboard. Aside from blogging we had a bit of an expository D&D  and this monday we should have the story arc climax, I prepped a lot of stuff for that this week! I’ve also purchased Face Rig and some other software to help pursue my VTuber aspirations, currently looking into video editing software that is laptop friendly and not too pricey.. just to get me started and so I can dabble.   Mallow gave me a great tip. Since I have a weak voice I probably need to look into text to speech!  In between blogs and games I experiment with that kind of stuff!

I spend a fair bit of my time watching movies!  I eat around 8:30 PM right now as a movie is on TV! Thus I have been watching a few movies! I watched my first ever Godfather movie , being Godfather 3… I.. .did not like it very much. I also watched Lethal Weapon 3 and 4, I liked those fine enough!  The fourth one had some issues with it’s story being a bit forced though!  I loved watching Stargate and Demolition Man. The absolute worst movie I saw was the “horror”  movie called Mother!  It is just strange for strange sake and there isn’t any rhyme or reason to it! Arceus what a slog! I kept hoping it would become good!  I am planning to get a shower bath thingy so I can relax my muscles a bit more!  I’ve been shopping for a sweet deal but haven’t ordered it yet! It’s sold out at many places and I really want a pink one! 

I have also been watching a bunch of VTuber things and some rewatching Princess Peachie’s princess in Japan series, mostly while doing my Nuzlocke! (I play that without sound..which can give me a bit of trouble).  That may have resulted in an unneeded death but at least I was hella entertained while I did this. I am not a big fan of how the songs of Gen III sound. The Pokémon Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire movie is to trumpetty! It sounds harsh and I don’t really enjoy it! I also use speed up a fair bit to make battles go faster which also ruins the music! So all the more reason to use speed up! Well at least until I become a Vtuber and can use those slow animations to read and interact with chat in some way shape or form!  Not a lot going on socially for me last week as I have been a bit anxious here and there, but everything is A-Okay now!

Hotpot-San is a person I do not visit enough! She’s a bit out of my league in terms of depths quite often and has seen so many things I haven’t so mostly  she leaves me scratching her head. It doesn’t help that she isn’t on WordPress but on something of her own design!  However sometimes I do see her promote a post and I am immediately amazed. The reaction of “casuals” towards deeper anime is a thing… are they wrong?!  Are they close minded? Decide for yourself and join the discussion! 

I want to watch more genuinely romantic non lewd Yuri! I want to watch more Idol Girl shows..  I can either dream about finding a nice girlfriend or dream about becoming an idol! But what if I could do both at the same time?!  With the newest Love Live spin off show I might be able to do the same. Space Whales made me put this anime on my list of anime I will want to watch…. I will forget I will forget for sure.. but maybe if I remember that there was this one show I wrote about wanting to see I can just browse back in my Paradise Weekly posts! If I don’t forget that as well… I really should have become an Elephant Kaijuman.  My memory is great when it comes to dialogue and useless stuff.. but names go through me like a meal through a skeleton!

Iridium Eyes reviews a lot of anime that isn’t exactly on brand for this moth! Even Hikaru no Go which I picked up isn’t really my “brand” I do like it a lot.. but it isn’t exactly my brand of anime!  One of these anime that never was on brand for me was Ghost in the Shell, I watched it after the Scar-Jo version and honestly… Nah the anime is still better, but I would not rewatch any time soon. Curtis points out some of the flaws of this beloved anime, while still talking about it very lovingly and I think that is a very good thing!  We need to be able to see nuances and the flaws in our favourites just as much as we need to see the good in movies like The Room and Dragonbleeeeergh Evolu*vomiting Moth noises* … nope can’t say anything nice about that one.. regardless. Curtis made a great write up about a classic!

Scott talks about the meaning of giving Anime numbered rankings, and how they are all subjective, I actually went and put a lengthy discussion answer on this , but subjects like these really fascinate me!  I like these! I totally agree with what he says but I also think there is another side to this! Pinkie “Shops” Adorable Home Additions for a Moth-Girl!

Konichiwa my little lights! I have yet to be sponsored by Japan Trend Shop to promote their stuff..but until then I will continue to do it for free… in a rather silly way! Fairly random as well! I always pick a theme…. this year instead of making New Year’s Resolutions I decided to pick New Years Wishes… Not something I really will buy..but something I like to dream about! Because it’s good to have dreams…and lamps!

All I want for 2021 is…… A Thousand Dollar Plushie!

So you all know I like plushies right? Turning into a Kaijuman did not stop me from loving soft fluffy animals.. but Japan Trend Store usually doesn’t have a lot of them.. so when I was browsing and encountered this one.. I was really intrigued! I really wanted to hug this thing… and battle it to the death..but mostly hug…after I killed it?! No! Behave! You are a nice Kaijuman! Regardless.. it is a nice plushie!  Why would I want a thousand dollar plushie you might ask?! Well It’s made by Steiff!  Steiff is like “THE” brand for Teddy Bears and those things only go up in value. So rather than seeing it as a plushie you can see it as an investment in Mohair and stuffing! And with only 1954 made .. I could actually kill 1953 .. and hug one and make my investment worth it!

Why were they made in 1954 made? Well that is the year in which Godzilla first was seen. That’s right he is a fair bit older than most of us.. In 2014 Steiff made this toy to commemorate his 60th anniversary. Coming in at 50 centimeter it will also look like a Kaiju compared to most of my plushies and if I get some Lego’s I can build a city and let my thousand Dollar Toy destroy the city! RAWR….CRASH..STOMP! .. WIND BLAST.. wait now I am destroying my own lego city!  Oh well! guess Zilly and I are nakama in being destroyers now!  Smash! Just look at it’s cute face! It looks so fluffy! So if you want me to come destroy your toy.. buy this for yourself!  As long as you don’t live in a tiny house you should be fine and we can hang out afterwards! 

Okay so I might also want ……… a Pineapple Scented Lamp

If you are a bit like me you’ll often sniff your lamp in melancholy! “Why can’t my lamp smell like a Pineapple?!”  It is such a shame because I find myself close to lamps a lot lately. Yet they all kind of smell like plastic!  How am I supposed to get that tropical island feeling from that?! Well luckily the clever scientists made a thingy just for me! That is right the Pineapple Scented Lamp is here! No I am not talking about one of those lamps you add oil to! I tried those but they aren’t very lampy!  Oftenly I over oil and one of those oil bubbles sucked into that little nozzle thing and the thing barely works after unless you clean it for hours! This one is different! With just glass and Paraffin fragrance there isn’t too much to hold you from admiring your lamp in full glory! It will set you back €32,- or $39,-  which is a bit pricey for a Lamp that seems to be able to “run out” but these clever people of Japan have thought of a solution for that!

You see.. the light is not just a cutesy light! It also features a beautiful starry Cityscape as a pattern!  All lights look purple and cute when extinguished but when activated with the power of two CR2032  Batteries your scene comes to live in beautiful colours. There are three scents we can purchase. Raspberry, which colours your night sky in a beautiful sunset purple and pink.. then there is the Citrus scent.. which colours the sky orange and yellow, like a sunset on the Spanish Orchards.  And then there is the Pineapple Scented one.. which turns the sky Yellow and Green…. and now all of you naysayers will wonder.. V-Pinkie, the sky isn’t green!  Well it is on Namek! Most of us Kaijumans can go into space you know.. though I really would need help from Elon… regardless green skies do exist.. like the Aurora Borealis that is green as well!  I bet  it would really be nice to smell pineapples in the regions where you can see it too! It doesn’t grow on trees there! All in all.. it might be worth the money and after it is done you can smash the lamp on the ground real hard! HEHEHEHE! Bye bye little city HEHEHEHE!

Might as well wish something else when that runs out … LED Pokémon Wall Light

So even the non Virtual me would have liked this.. but I love it even more! I genuinely and truly do think these would look amazing as well decorations in my  bedroom.  Plus I could use a bit of a night light as I am pretty blind in the dark… that MUST be why I like Lamps so much!  Anyway this Pokémon LED lights look cute as a button! With five varieties to choose from you can truly catch them all… though it is a bit of a shame that two of these are Pikachu! *Sigh* Merchandise caters so much to the normies.. what great Pokémon like Lampent and Chandelure!  I think they would have made great wall lights! It’s not like I am asking for hard stuff like Xuriktree! But at least we get Mimikyu and Gengar.. I can vibe with those so those would be the first two I would get as well.. and lucky me they are the cheapest as well.

Coming in at 51 dollars these are quite adorable!  And you can get the set of all five for like  256 dollars.. which is like a 10 ish dollar discount. Since the Pikachu’s and Eevee’s cost extra. … Hmmm paying extra to be basic..the horror! At least when you get them all you don’t pay extra for the crowd favourites.. so I guess that is the only way I would buy those…is that smart marketing? I am not sure! I also wonder why Mimikyu is the only one that has eyes! I get why a shiny ghost night light SHOULD NOT have eyes.. so I go understand why Gengar doesn’t have eyes.. and the eyes on Mimikyu’s fake head aren’t there.. but those aren’t his real eyes!  It’s the tiny ones we see down below! Well… I want the one with eyes the most so I guess I will go for the Mimku one!

Oh and I also want…. One Piece Nico Robin Sunglasses

This one is on my wishlist because I find it comically over priced.. and hey it’s nice that I desire something other than a lamp right?! Well I find myself staring at a bunch of light recently so I figured finding a good pair of sunglasses might be useful! Those are kind of hard to come by right now for me though ..because it’s Winter.. not a lot of sunglasses on sale… I know I am a Megane Moth  but.. I can wear contacts for the right pair of Sunglasses.. and since these cost $365 they better darn be the best sunglasses I have ever had. Of course.. for that price it is not just sunglasses it also comes with a wiping cloth with Nico Robin printed on it.. and a case with the One Piece logo!

Okay..so the frame has to be by a designer right? I mean…. otherwise $365 for two sheets of some acrylic glass and a thin frame seems a bit overpriced… NO! It’s made by Bandai’s Toy Division… So this is a toy?!It does look stylish. I will give it that. It has UV400 Protection so that is good.. but as a cosplay article.. I have seen other yellow tinted glasses before and with such a thin frame like the one Robin uses.. no one will really fine tooth comb that stuff… you pay because this is OFFICIAL.. this is not just a cosplay prop! These ARE the exact same glasses Robin wears or something.. well.. I want them.. I just would never pay for them.. but if you are a millionaire and are looking to give me a cute gift.. I’ll happily take this as it will let me look at the world a little bit more as if it  was a lamp, all yellow and all!

Honourable mention here goes to the Fun’iki Digital Eyewear.. which are glasses.. that flash in a colour every time you get an email or a phone notification! This so that you don’t ever have to check your phone to see if that email already arrived. For $450 dollars you can save all that time you spend looking on your phone falsely.. and instead you get constant flashing eyes in your face.. I am a Moth and I am afraid I might get epilepsy from this…if things seem dire.. there should really be a way that you can tell a new notification has popped up on your phone.. you know maybe a sound signal.. or a vibration?!…. Oh wait! Talk about solving a non problem!

And Finally I’d really like a ……… Godzilla Humidifier

Now that we have to spend so much time at home here in lockdown, we might as well assure it’s the best quality time we have. With a quality time becomes a quality climate. In 1992 Momma Mothra fought Godzilla and  well, I kind of want revenge! Now for $125 dollar I can make Godzilla work for me! To make sure my wings don’t go to try! He got downsized a bit to make sure he fits my home to about a 20 centimeter size.  So even if I am not using the humidifier! It will look like a cool decorative piece in my plushie and figure cabinet. Unlike my figures though it has a bit of a function and generally one I kind of actually need!  It looks sturdy enough so I can probably slap it around a bit and tell Mamma I beat Godzilla so all the more reason for me to like it. 

What Godzilla does, he does with flair! Of course he doesn’t just breath a  delightfully moist mist! A little blue Led Light will tint the mist blue in dark rooms!  So when Indigo dims my lights again! …. Baka! …  I will see the blue mist!  Just like Godzilla’s atomic breath! It also comes equipped with sounds from Mothra vs Gozilla. Mostly it’s roars of course… which might be kind of distrubing for my neighbour, as if Godzilla cries I tend to do my cry as well. I still need to work on it because I keep ending up with Wrrrrrryyyyyy but people will always remember another guy for that.  Regardless… Godzilla comes with a second “tail”  that you can hook up with your power grid (provided you have the right  adapter as it will have a Japanese plug). Shinji Nishikawa  has designed the packaging. Well.. kind of, he helped illustrate it so the box art is nice.. and just look at the little guy! Doesn’t he look adorable?!

As you may have noticed I have kind of expensive tastes.. I am trying to reduce those urges but hey a moth needs pretty lamps! I saw a VTuber review toilet once..
