All I want for 2021 is…… A Thousand Dollar Plushie!
So you all know I like plushies right? Turning into a Kaijuman did not stop me from loving soft fluffy animals.. but Japan Trend Store usually doesn’t have a lot of them.. so when I was browsing and encountered this one.. I was really intrigued! I really wanted to hug this thing… and battle it to the death..but mostly hug…after I killed it?! No! Behave! You are a nice Kaijuman! Regardless.. it is a nice plushie! Why would I want a thousand dollar plushie you might ask?! Well It’s made by Steiff! Steiff is like “THE” brand for Teddy Bears and those things only go up in value. So rather than seeing it as a plushie you can see it as an investment in Mohair and stuffing! And with only 1954 made .. I could actually kill 1953 .. and hug one and make my investment worth it!
Why were they made in 1954 made? Well that is the year in which Godzilla first was seen. That’s right he is a fair bit older than most of us.. In 2014 Steiff made this toy to commemorate his 60th anniversary. Coming in at 50 centimeter it will also look like a Kaiju compared to most of my plushies and if I get some Lego’s I can build a city and let my thousand Dollar Toy destroy the city! RAWR….CRASH..STOMP! .. WIND BLAST.. wait now I am destroying my own lego city! Oh well! guess Zilly and I are nakama in being destroyers now! Smash! Just look at it’s cute face! It looks so fluffy! So if you want me to come destroy your toy.. buy this for yourself! As long as you don’t live in a tiny house you should be fine and we can hang out afterwards!
Okay so I might also want ……… a Pineapple Scented Lamp
If you are a bit like me you’ll often sniff your lamp in melancholy! “Why can’t my lamp smell like a Pineapple?!” It is such a shame because I find myself close to lamps a lot lately. Yet they all kind of smell like plastic! How am I supposed to get that tropical island feeling from that?! Well luckily the clever scientists made a thingy just for me! That is right the Pineapple Scented Lamp is here! No I am not talking about one of those lamps you add oil to! I tried those but they aren’t very lampy! Oftenly I over oil and one of those oil bubbles sucked into that little nozzle thing and the thing barely works after unless you clean it for hours! This one is different! With just glass and Paraffin fragrance there isn’t too much to hold you from admiring your lamp in full glory! It will set you back €32,- or $39,- which is a bit pricey for a Lamp that seems to be able to “run out” but these clever people of Japan have thought of a solution for that!
You see.. the light is not just a cutesy light! It also features a beautiful starry Cityscape as a pattern! All lights look purple and cute when extinguished but when activated with the power of two CR2032 Batteries your scene comes to live in beautiful colours. There are three scents we can purchase. Raspberry, which colours your night sky in a beautiful sunset purple and pink.. then there is the Citrus scent.. which colours the sky orange and yellow, like a sunset on the Spanish Orchards. And then there is the Pineapple Scented one.. which turns the sky Yellow and Green…. and now all of you naysayers will wonder.. V-Pinkie, the sky isn’t green! Well it is on Namek! Most of us Kaijumans can go into space you know.. though I really would need help from Elon… regardless green skies do exist.. like the Aurora Borealis that is green as well! I bet it would really be nice to smell pineapples in the regions where you can see it too! It doesn’t grow on trees there! All in all.. it might be worth the money and after it is done you can smash the lamp on the ground real hard! HEHEHEHE! Bye bye little city HEHEHEHE!
Might as well wish something else when that runs out … LED Pokémon Wall Light
So even the non Virtual me would have liked this.. but I love it even more! I genuinely and truly do think these would look amazing as well decorations in my bedroom. Plus I could use a bit of a night light as I am pretty blind in the dark… that MUST be why I like Lamps so much! Anyway this Pokémon LED lights look cute as a button! With five varieties to choose from you can truly catch them all… though it is a bit of a shame that two of these are Pikachu! *Sigh* Merchandise caters so much to the normies.. what great Pokémon like Lampent and Chandelure! I think they would have made great wall lights! It’s not like I am asking for hard stuff like Xuriktree! But at least we get Mimikyu and Gengar.. I can vibe with those so those would be the first two I would get as well.. and lucky me they are the cheapest as well.
Coming in at 51 dollars these are quite adorable! And you can get the set of all five for like 256 dollars.. which is like a 10 ish dollar discount. Since the Pikachu’s and Eevee’s cost extra. … Hmmm paying extra to be basic..the horror! At least when you get them all you don’t pay extra for the crowd favourites.. so I guess that is the only way I would buy those…is that smart marketing? I am not sure! I also wonder why Mimikyu is the only one that has eyes! I get why a shiny ghost night light SHOULD NOT have eyes.. so I go understand why Gengar doesn’t have eyes.. and the eyes on Mimikyu’s fake head aren’t there.. but those aren’t his real eyes! It’s the tiny ones we see down below! Well… I want the one with eyes the most so I guess I will go for the Mimku one!
Oh and I also want…. One Piece Nico Robin Sunglasses
This one is on my wishlist because I find it comically over priced.. and hey it’s nice that I desire something other than a lamp right?! Well I find myself staring at a bunch of light recently so I figured finding a good pair of sunglasses might be useful! Those are kind of hard to come by right now for me though ..because it’s Winter.. not a lot of sunglasses on sale… I know I am a Megane Moth but.. I can wear contacts for the right pair of Sunglasses.. and since these cost $365 they better darn be the best sunglasses I have ever had. Of course.. for that price it is not just sunglasses it also comes with a wiping cloth with Nico Robin printed on it.. and a case with the One Piece logo!
Okay..so the frame has to be by a designer right? I mean…. otherwise $365 for two sheets of some acrylic glass and a thin frame seems a bit overpriced… NO! It’s made by Bandai’s Toy Division… So this is a toy?!It does look stylish. I will give it that. It has UV400 Protection so that is good.. but as a cosplay article.. I have seen other yellow tinted glasses before and with such a thin frame like the one Robin uses.. no one will really fine tooth comb that stuff… you pay because this is OFFICIAL.. this is not just a cosplay prop! These ARE the exact same glasses Robin wears or something.. well.. I want them.. I just would never pay for them.. but if you are a millionaire and are looking to give me a cute gift.. I’ll happily take this as it will let me look at the world a little bit more as if it was a lamp, all yellow and all!
Honourable mention here goes to the Fun’iki Digital Eyewear.. which are glasses.. that flash in a colour every time you get an email or a phone notification! This so that you don’t ever have to check your phone to see if that email already arrived. For $450 dollars you can save all that time you spend looking on your phone falsely.. and instead you get constant flashing eyes in your face.. I am a Moth and I am afraid I might get epilepsy from this…if things seem dire.. there should really be a way that you can tell a new notification has popped up on your phone.. you know maybe a sound signal.. or a vibration?!…. Oh wait! Talk about solving a non problem!

Now that we have to spend so much time at home here in lockdown, we might as well assure it’s the best quality time we have. With a quality time becomes a quality climate. In 1992 Momma Mothra fought Godzilla and well, I kind of want revenge! Now for $125 dollar I can make Godzilla work for me! To make sure my wings don’t go to try! He got downsized a bit to make sure he fits my home to about a 20 centimeter size. So even if I am not using the humidifier! It will look like a cool decorative piece in my plushie and figure cabinet. Unlike my figures though it has a bit of a function and generally one I kind of actually need! It looks sturdy enough so I can probably slap it around a bit and tell Mamma I beat Godzilla so all the more reason for me to like it.
What Godzilla does, he does with flair! Of course he doesn’t just breath a delightfully moist mist! A little blue Led Light will tint the mist blue in dark rooms! So when Indigo dims my lights again! …. Baka! … I will see the blue mist! Just like Godzilla’s atomic breath! It also comes equipped with sounds from Mothra vs Gozilla. Mostly it’s roars of course… which might be kind of distrubing for my neighbour, as if Godzilla cries I tend to do my cry as well. I still need to work on it because I keep ending up with Wrrrrrryyyyyy but people will always remember another guy for that. Regardless… Godzilla comes with a second “tail” that you can hook up with your power grid (provided you have the right adapter as it will have a Japanese plug). Shinji Nishikawa has designed the packaging. Well.. kind of, he helped illustrate it so the box art is nice.. and just look at the little guy! Doesn’t he look adorable?!

As you may have noticed I have kind of expensive tastes.. I am trying to reduce those urges but hey a moth needs pretty lamps! I saw a VTuber review toilet once.. I could do that with lamps! Dutch anime conventions can have their quirks, the concept of a “panel” is usually reserved for Comic Con only while our conventions feature a lot of workshops and home brew cute events. While I do like a workshop in whiskey tasting, AMV making DDR etc. My motor skills being poor prevent me from really shining in Amigurumi stuff etc. I tried once I impaled myself with one of those hook things.. Tofu Cute is an amazing store that tempts me into buying their adorable stuff every time I see it. It’s an England based company that doesn’t have to do as much with Tofu as it does have to do with cute. Because my oh my do these guys have some cute stuff. From simple Japanese sweets to the most adorable stationary and very special keychains and charms. If you need any cuteness in your life this store is such a safe bet. They have a member plan and pretty manageable shipping prices, at least if you live in the European area like me , not sure how it goes for those living overseas but I still think these ship for pretty sweet deals! Hige Manju Maneki Neko Reiwa Giant Plush
The first thing I am offering in my in my little store are these big Maneki Neko’s that look adorable and perfectly huggable.. which is a pretty good trait for a plushie to have. Being 35 centimeters tall and coming in two variants the Calico and the Black cat. The description Tofu Cute gives to this one is spot on Adorably round lucky cats holding golden amulets, huge & round & huggable! These two deserve a warm home and loving new owners. Both are originally made in Japan by the company Amuse which is quite good quality stuff there. Most of Tofu’s stuff comes from them and it feels super soft and good! So there is my seal of approval.. I once or twice held something similar. Still just look at the black one.. doesn’t he just look like the cutests grouch?! AMUSE Micro Pig Giant Plush
Speaking of Amuse , let’s discuss my most recent Tofu Cute Purchase. The clover Giant Micro Pig. It’s pink, squishy it looks great on my bed.. which is pink and white and it’s large enough for me to hug without losing in the middle of the night! I just feel in love with how it’s eyes sparkled and how it’s mouth emotes cute oinking noises and how “anime pig” it looks! I am still on the hunt for an Anime Duck plush but Miss Luckubutt (Which is how I named my plush pig) is very welcome addition to my family! What would make it better is if any of you could adopt her brothers or sisters so through our bond as bloggers our plushies can be together! Anyway Tofu Cute describes these cuties as Adorable micro pig giant plush, super fuzzy and cuddly with unique patterns! I love my plushies fuzzy! Miss Luckybutt arived a few days ago and I adore her. Amuse miight make crane game plushies but these are leagues apart from your average crane game plush! With this pig you will also have bacon in bed each morning! Talk about lucky! If you are a bit like me you have found yourself staring at your cat-octopus hybrid and ask. Why is it not more like a humanoid Reindeer with a pink hat! Luckily the brilliant Hannah has come with a solution for this. A Tony Tony Chopper Kittypi that also comes as just a hat! So even if you would not want an adorable tentacle (non) tanuki you can still get cute pink decoration of real high quality! These are really good! Chopper easily is one of the most true looking plushies in this store! In fact if you told me this was a rumble ball form from the Anime, i’d totally believe it! It’s colouring really stands out to me and if I had the money , I’d totally pick it up! Running for about $75 this one unfortunately is a bit of my plushie range, but this little guy will just be as happy if you pick it up today! I bet Hannah will love it if you do as well!
Meowth or Alolan Meowth Kittypi
If you are even more like me you know there can never be enough Pokémon in Your Life. Kittypi Meowth is one of Hannah’s proudest works and with Galar now being a thing she can now make three! As her store is commission based I bet you can make it as crazy as you’d like. Yet her cats all look so adorable that these cat pokémon are like a super safe way to go and add something super cute to your bed , shelves or couch. Now Meowth is a bipedal pokemon so that makes it hard to place a plushie like that. Now that it has become an octopus as well it can be put everywhere! That’s pretty amazing, think of the logistics! I really love how kantonian meowth is totally adorable and it’s dark type counterpart has so much personality as well. I’d totally want to buy them as a set! But now I need my metal furbaby as well so this set can be complete! When I already want more, you are doing something right!

For my last pick it is time to go beyond! Plus Ultra Adorable! This thing is amazing and I feel the show is overrated so to the true fans this guys must be a must buy right? Flying its U.A. colourv scheme and all mights in general I can assure you that this plush is high quality! It will not shrivel up into a skinny weak man! It will save you from your lonely nights and bad dreams for it is a hero. It’s special attack, United States of Hug can defrost even the coldest of hearts! Your girlfriend will steal the covers, your hubby will hug and roll you out of his space or fart under the blankets ! Even your Dakimakura is not as loyal as this All Might.. put it next to you and it will keep you safe and loved All Night! And hey if you just happen to breath in one of its hairs you might gain super powers! Talk about a super deal.
It doesn’t happen so often that I encounter a store that resonates with my sense of aesthetics and cuteness so much that I more or less believe that this shop is lead by an alternate universe version of me.. just one that is more talented, more successful and even more pretty than I am! This store manages to pull it off though! Their Linktree is done in a soft pink, their webstores artwork is done in pink’s and baby blues with white, which is a theme I really like and have used when this was still a Pokémon Blog and basically her entire visual style, the characters they create, the linework everything on this site speaks to me. What if you took Nyancat and made it like a billion times cuter, a gazillion times less annoying and infinitely more huggable! Seriously toast is so fragile! Than you’d get this Giant Mewochi Plush Unicorn. Being 10.5 inch tall, which is yet another measurement standard I can do nothing with , I am sure it lives up to its expectations of Giant. This is the one that got away for me! Being on Sale for a very affordable $30 bucks .. with free US delivery during the COVID times, this is a pretty sweet deal for all of you in the states! Lots of Meowchi to love! Just look at it doesn’t it make you happy?! This tiny , big one can’t wait for you to hug it and make your pillows softer as putting your head on a marshmallow as that is it’s magical power! It’s a very neutral plush that can look cute in any decoration as well and bring a little rainbow in your life! Such a great plush for such a sweet deal!
Mallow, The Stegosaurus DinoS’more
One look at and it’s gleeful eyes is enough to fall in love with this little creature! It’s rosey cheeks on it’s desaturated peach skin help sell that joy de vivre this little thing has about life as it tells you exactly how happy and cheery this little DinoS’more is! We don’t even have S’mores here but I just can imagine how soft and squishy Mallow would be to hug! It also shares a name with one of the most Amazing WordPressers I know! So supportive! If this Mallow does even half of that.. I can tell you it’s money well spend! Just looking at the picture as I write this my brain is like.. I want to feed it cookies..brand ones as well! Like Oreo and Chips-Ahoy Chocolate Chip Cookies. As someone who talks to my plushies I know I might be biassed but Mallow has such a strong voice I can just imagine it already..without even owning one! Think of the conversations you can have if you are as crazy as me and more of a United States based than me! If I had a Mallow I might try baking just so I could make the plushie watch me! It will also hear me curse than because I am not good at baking! Luckily I would have a Mallow to cheer me up once I fail! Nocturii the Dragon Fruit Bat
When Pinkie was born she did not get one but two bunnies two love, and her favorite one had a face exactly like Nocturii, only Pinkie’s bunny wasn’t pink.. nor could it fly… nor would it taste so good if you eat it… in the fictional sense… This little critter is something truly unique and feels like it should be in a kids anime like Maple Town or something. I do not know why but I also imagine it as the mascotte of a bungalow park! Like on the kids network it would fly all over the map and tell the children where the playground is, where the swimming pool is and where the special magic show and kids club are! All so that mommy and daddy can have some peace and quiet! ‘Momma Momma! Nocturii is at the boulevard can I go and see her?’ I would be so excited if I was a kid seeing this as a mascotte! The Bunny like features make it lovable while the batlike features make it completely unique! That leaf on her head because it’s also a fruit just finish it and making this into one of the strongest OC plushies I have seen. That is Tasty Peach greatest strength.. it all feels so unique yet it also manages to appeal to you on a very core level. An absolute gem of a dealer and I hope people can support them in these difficult times!

Corocoro Coronya Plush
If you are like me you have looked at your dog and wondered.. why aren’t it legs more like pastry. San-X made a character for you and Neko Stop made it come to the states while keeping the bun fresh and soft.. the soft part goes for the rest of the dog as well. From what I have seen you can remove the dog from the bun but no guarantees! My research took me to some auto translate Japanese pages that showed me weird dutch queries like “the fatness of Chinese dogs and crusty cats. I am sure something went wrong in translation! Neko Shop tries to respond to all your questions within twenty four hours though so I bet they can answer everything you need to know about this dog in a blanket.. The Edible kind. I myself would just like to have it for the randomness.. a dog in a croissant like thing… Actually it’s that thing from the first episode of Lucky Star where they discuss how to eat a pudding filled croissant like thing.. but I forgot how it’s actually called. I am pretty sure it’s not Chinese Dog’s Fatness. $25 Dollars for a on brand, on model and official plush like this isn’t that expensive! If it isn’t cute enough for you I am sure it will be delicious!
Rilakkuma Autumn Gloves Plush!
While I had plenty of plushies in my life I don’t think I ever had an actual bear.. well excluding my panda.. but still that doesn’t really feel like a Teddy. Rilakkuma most definitely is a Teddy so I really want one! This Autumn Glove Edition is perfect for a Dutchie like me because we like to complain about the weather and I am not sure if this little bear is fit for cold weather. It clearly is wearing Winter Gear for while it is only still Autumn.. we Dutch have a word for this and it’s cold Koukleum.. a person who does not like cold! We are still very much in the middle of summer unless you live in Australia or picked southern Hemisphere in Animal Crossing, so this bear should not be that cold! So time for you to warm it up with warm loving hugs! The tiny gloves it wars are so adorable and it means it will not scratch you even if it’s a bear so this is a total win. Costing around $28 dollars that seems like a fairly fair price for something as Kawaii as this! I have no idea how big it is because the measurements are in inches but my guesstimate size would be .. adorable! This is definitely a teddy I would welcome in my home and if you are into plushies so should you!
Sentimental Circus Shappo
It might not come to any surprise that among all those plushies I have selected at least one in every store had some pink elements since CoroCoro and Rilakkuma miss that I needed something to meet that quota. Presenting Shappo! Shappo is one of the weirder San-X character and definitely takes after me! With a teacup tiny top hat, a bit of a scary face and an adorable puppet this creature blends adorableness with a bit of creepiness. It looks like it could kill you.. or at the very least curse you..so this one is very nice to add if your mom tells you to give up your plushies.. you just sit that on your bed or couch making sure if faces wherever your mom sits when she is over for visits..assuming most my of followers live by myself.. or at least are a bit secluded to their own room! When she says.. you gotta get rid of those your an adult now you just point at Shappo and say….shhh they hear you! She will stare at it and drop it right away. There is also that appeal to bunny plushies.. Maybe it was because it was my first animal but for some reason I feel like all bunny like plushies always come out extra adorable! So do pick up a Shappo today if you want to have something else sitting on your bed for once! It is really ornate and a bit pricey coming in at about $39 dollars so it might not be for everybody.. but I at least love this style.. so I am sure there are more people like me!
The final store is something special. During the OWLS live stream event which I watched later due to not being awake at the time of streaming Naja and Lita eluded to a mysterious OWL having their own store that sells Amigurumi dolls! Of course this person would be on my dealer to support list us OWLS should stick together and they get one of those coveted corner spots of my dealer table as well! Takeru Sasazuka Amigurumi
If you are a bit like me you have looked at a guy and thought.. Shut your face! Like Don’t say anything! Don’t even look at me! All I need now is a hug from you..but don’t be you because you make me angry! This Collar X Malice remake has got you covered. While I know nothing about the game or the character, a little image search leads me to believe that this character is really very much into sweets! That’s cute..but those are my donuts and cookies! With Naja’s Takeru though you get the best of everything you just described! He won’t talk back.. he won’t give you the look and he certainly won’t touch your food! He is just there for you to love! I am not sure what type of ladies he likes..but little love story does not require you to act a specific way! This little love story can be unlocked by supporting Naja! You get a lovely little doll pal, Naja gets happy and you can now chase another guy with Takeru already being there so you no longer have to feel bad for picking him! I am not very good at romancy games because I can never replay it and go for another romance. I feel bad for not picking the first. Dragon Quest Your Story the movie explained that well! Sushi Bunny Tamago
No! I have never looked at my bunny and wondered if it would be nicer if it was more like sushi! I just dropped an omelette on my bunny! Just kidding.. That did happen to my dog she did not mind as much as me! She had an omelette that day.. Nowadays I have neither Dog nor Bunny to drop an omelette on! My plushies do usually not go near the kitchen! Now that means there is a hiatus in my house! Tiny Plushies I could decorate my kitchen with! Naja has a great answer in the form of these briljant and adorable Sushi bunnies! All I can say is I truly love these! If I ever marry a rich american girl who’s willing to support me these will definitely decorate our house! You can really see the personalities in them as well. Did you know that a Bunny-Rice-Ball would rather be covered by Tuna than with egg for example? I did not but Naja sure did! So if you manage to have enough for a set, they will all look quite different and unique! A great thing to collect or an totally awesome gift! Egg based creatures can be totally awesome friends! You should know if you read my more experimental pieces!
Rowlet Pokemon
One of my favourite grass type Pokémon, the former mascot of Owls before Sir Hoot (at least I think that is it’s name) took over. This is a pick for all of you Owls members who would like a physical token of their Owlness. Not only do you support a fellow Owl and one of our long time members, you’d get your own little badge of honour! Plus one of the best pokémon starters ever! Her pokémon work on the store is adorable and throughout! I love the Pikachu as well and I rarely love Pikachu! Pokémon Go kinda keeps ruining it more for me! How many hats do you gotta have! The piplup is adorable as well. Yet Rowlet I say is Naja’s greatest work. I’ve been blogging about Pokémon for a year now so you can take this as an expert opinion as well. I mean that in the positive way.. like comparing fine wines and picking a Château Léoville Barton over a Château Pichon Longueville Lalande. I know a lot of you don’t like Plushies all that much or as much as I do but Naja here shows that a Plush or a little cuddly companion can be more! A symbol of what ties us together!
Phew that was a lot of work! This brings me to my conclusion of today’s post! I know I tried to sell you these things but know I get nothing out of it! Nor is that my intention! These people at least for the most part, normally are out there on conventions selling these things and making trying to make a living. In times like these they can be less discovered and might be struggling. For me Cons for a big part are about shopping and talking to shopkeepers, fangirling over items I might never be able to get but can dream about. These dealers are just as much a part of conventions as we are as guests.So if you have a plushie loving friend, share the links to the stores I shared with you or browse these peoples stores for something you might like as well.
Support your own favourite dealer! If you are into gunpla.. for once buy it online as if you would spend it on a con. If you are into Japanese candy or artwork order some of that! If you can miss something of course. It is why I bought Miss Luckybutt.. she costs me about what I would normally spend on cons! I really get happy when I see a table of plushies in the dealer room of my cons and if we all support what we love just a bit.. we can help the other side of the conventions as well as ourselves! Support your dealers.. by granting your own desires! Now I am sold out for the day! Remember to be however you want to be and don´t be afraid to give yourself a treat from your dealers…do not take that out of context!

It’s time to search for more Pokémon. Since Jason Paige told us to search for them far and wide I have decided to go to the nooks and crannies where you do not normally find pokémon. Now eBay is not a weird place to search for Pokémon as there are plenty to be found. But today we will look in categories where you do not expect them. Like Antiques, Specialty Services and eBay Motors. We will look at odd items that will make you wonder, why do they exist.. how did they get tagged here or what does this have to do with pokemon?! The search rules, I can only use the tag pokémon in the search bar and can only select from the first 10 pages of hits. In each I’ll find something I would buy.. something I would not buy and something I wonder if anyone buys!
Category 1: Health and Beauty
Pokémon is not something I would connect to health items… sure I bet there is some makeup .. which happens to be tied in to the item I really DO want. Yet there was a surprising number of health items as well. Items like Pikachu Bandages or heatable of coolable rice packs. So you can create your own pokémon heat or cold pack. A shout-out goes to the Pokemon Bath bombs, who thought it through that children would not like to see Pikachu dissolve in their tub but instead they made bath bombs that release little pokemon. Would buy if I had a bath.
Item that I do want: Eveelutions Eye Brush Set
I am a bit messy with makeup, my eye brushes keep getting lost, and when I do my big make up I usually lose something. I have very poor vision -5, and 4,75 so I am blind as a Zubat when I am in front of my make up mirror. With the flesh shaped blob that I assume is my hand blocking my view applying makeup properly can be a struggle at times. I would wear contacts but they made my eyes deteriorate even further so now I have pink glasses. Anyway with the Eeveelutions make up kid not only I would get a set of brushes I want to treat with actual care. I would also gain a much more lengthy brush which would actually help me with my nearsighted application blobby shape troubles! I would also buy the “thunder shock* eyes, eye shadow set. The Brushes are about 25 dollars and the eyeshadow about 9, it has some nice zippy colours I could actually use like lilacs and such.

Item that I do NOT want: Pikachu Electric Toothbrush
Now I do like the idea of an electric Pokémon being used for an electric toothbrush but just look at this thing it is super unpractical. Not only do you get a brush that you can’t find anywhere else, the way you attach it also seems rather unpractical. The toothbrush looks extremely flimsy as well but is acompanied by a massive chockachu. How do you even hold this thing I wonder. It’s cheeks will light up which is cute…but how will you see it if you are brushing your teeth? They clearly did not think this thing trough.

Item that I think Nobody wants :Pokemon Ball Orthoptic Eye Patch Amblyopia Lazy Eye Occlusion Therapy Treatment
Does your kid have a lazy eye AND does he wear glasses? Did the doctor not put a patch on the eye or you want to cover it up with a mediocrely sewn Pokéball? Than this item can be yours for the amazing price of 9 british pounds. You can have your pokeball sewn up to sock for your kids glasses in both a red OR a black patch… in two sizes of choice. Yet I wonder how many lazy eyed bespectacled children would think.. let’s go and see if eBay has something that makes me look a lot cooler! With a pokéball?! I really wonder.

Category 2: eBay Motors
So apparently pimping your ride out with some pokémon decalls is fairly popular. From bonnet .. I think that is the word, stickers shaped like an evil gengar too a Ducati Motor Riding Bag with cute little pokemon on them.. and a lot of ornamental number plates. This category had a lot more stuff in it than I thought. Unfortunately no Pikachu car.. so for my wishlisted item.. I had to be creative. I am not allowed to drive anyway so meh!
Item that I would buy: Pikachu Steering Wheel Cover
I have really sensitive palms, in the driving lessons I took I always found a steering wheel to be a rather uncomfy thing. Luckily on eBay I can get the softest looking steering wheel cover I have ever laid my eyes upon and it’s shaped like Pikachu as well. I did not know people wanted to have their steering wheels resemble a Pikachu.. but I totally can get behind the sentiment. In fact it’s that hard to get a complete Pikachu upholstery for fairly cheap. Like for 200 bucks you can pretty much have the electric mouse, all over your interior. I think that would look kinda cute with the pink car I would hypothetically get.

Item that I would not buy: Sexy Misty Window Decal
(Bad stuff)
I originally selected this item as the trash I think nobody would buy! Because this has very little to do with pokémon. We see a misty that looks like her outfit is being possed by Senketsu from Kill la kill. Creeping up her outfit to the max. She has a lusty gaze in her eyes and the word cock written all over her tank top. Why she would write that on I am not sure?! There is only one avion pokémon in that criteria.. Blaziken (and kind of Combusken) and that was not a pokémon she ever used nor seemed to desire. So I do not get the shoutout. She must hold some serious airbags underneath that shirt as well because there would have been plenty of room to write Rooster as well, at least there would not be any misunderstandings. Why is it not on the nobody will ever buy this list then? Because it was the only item that was being watched during my research by no less than 34 people even! Vagrants!
Item that I think Nobody Wants : Trucker gear stick with Pokeball Gear Knob
There were a lot of Gear Knobs shaped like Pokéballs for Honda Civics during my search.. which makes sense because from what little understanding I have that stay at home tuner car. Like the Vin Diesel wannabe’s all get a Honda Civic. It’s one of those cars that is driven by people who put weird shaped body parts underneath them and make it look cooler.. then they go to Mcdonalds and play music really loud from their subwoofer things. I haven’t really heard of pimping out one’s truck though. I mean I saw some pretty pimped out ones.. but that’s usually not really something akin to pokémon. I just don’t see many truckers liking the franchise. I might be stereotyping here.. but I honestly dont see anyone taking out their entire gear shifty thing to put on in that has a pokeball nob.Surely if someone wants this.. there are easier ways.
Is it even a gear or is ithat other thingy that makes the Wruh-huh sound?
Category 3: Music Instruments
So obviously the Pokéflute is a thing.. however that instrument is actual more like a toy..that based on conventions though.. can still produce a catchy tune. Most of the stuff found in this category is sheet music though.. and some kind of tuning device that features Bulbasaur… it’s nice to see that my boy gets some love. Yet it’s boy.. starters have a very low female encounter rate so we can assume! Of course there where a few interesting other items in this category as well
Item that I do want: Pikachu Electric Guitar
I do love when things come together. An Electric Pokemon.. and an Electric Guitar.. that is pretty neat. It’s like one of those videos where people cut styrofoam things in equal slices or how playdough is made into on big non breaking string.It works. Since the pokemon theme is excellent to play on an electric guitar it works even better. The design of this thing is pretty stunning as well. They even placed the Pika head and tail in positions so you could play it and still show of the pokémon without covering it with your hands and all. That’s neat. Still if I would have it I would not play it.. I would hang it on my wall. It would just liven up any room and does not deserve to be in a guitar case or something… also I can’t actually play any instrument let alone electric guitar. For a wall ornament though $1250 dollars is a bit pricey.. given that that is almost three months worth of rent for me. If I ever win the lottery or become a famous cewebrity though….

Item that I would not buy: KORG MA-2, Pokémon Metronome
This is a case of solid idea, bad execution. It’s that styrofoam video again but this time they slice unevenly. Its that playthrough with two mixed colours smudging up destroying the clay. The “electric item” so Pikachu works thing .. for my feeling doesn’t apply. It feels like a rhythm computer is always electric anyway even if we also have analogue metronomes.. it feels like the difference between a car and a bike. Pikachu on a gameboy is meh.. Pikachu on a electric car is clever. There is a difference..to me. For a metronome they simply picked the wrong pokémon.. obviously it should have been the one pokemon that made metronome a signature thing in the first series, clefairy..or that thing that stole the idea and made it his.. in the form of togepi. If you make a pokémon themed Metronome… use an actual metronome pokemon!
This should have been Clefairy! It would have been Pink! PIIIIINK!
Item that nobody should want: THIS pokéball Ocarina
First of all, why would you even make a pokeball Ocarina. We already have the pokéflute made into an actual playable instrument. That is a canon game item made into a real item that sounds and looks iconic. Never did an Ocarina feature in the series nor does this thing actually look like an ocarina. It doesn’t even look that much like a pokéball either. It’s badly painted with some jaggedy lines. Which geek is geeky enough to think.. I would like the pokémon ocarina while for less money they can have the actually Iconic Ocarina in video game lore. A hardcore pokémon fan would rather want the flute because that’s an actual thing and the hardcore geeky ocarina player would want the Ocarina of Time as it looks much more like an actual instrument.. plus people at cons wil recognise it. To me this feels the same like putting that “mug” your son made on display..without the emotional undertones. For almost 40 dollars there are better ways to spend your pokédollars.
Just so much wrong for me.. But I am sure at least the maker had fun! Which is what counts

Five september 2019 will be mostly remembered as the day Sans got into Smash. Although he wasn’t exactly a character he’s still there. Along with Terry Bogard from Fatal Fury it will be fun new faces to welcome to the smash family. Yet of course to this reporter and her other personalities that was not the most interesting announcement of the day. We got mesmerized by the new Pokémon Announcements and here’s what’s new.
Camping
Pokémon games are often filled with silly features you use once or twice in your playthroughs and on first glance.. camping might be one of them. Yet for those who played Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee know there might be more to this than meets the eye. In Pokémon Sword and Shield we can put up our little tent in the Wild Area. The Wild Area quickly seems to become the hot spot for all Pokémon Sword and Shield features. Basically everything online that isn’t versus takes place here. Max Raids were already announcement and now there is camps.
In your camp you can play with your Pokémon and let them bond with your team. While fan reception so far seems a bit lackluster I truly believe that this is our new Pokémon Amie or Pokémon Grooming. Not everyone is a fan ot this, but the bonus experience a max affectionate pokémon provides as well as the ability to break free from status is well worth the effort on story playthrough. The way you can play with your Pokémon so far looks absolutely adorable. You’ll gain access to a few Pokémon toys they can interact with.. like one of those cat rod thinges.. not sure how to name it as cats hate me in real life so I avoid those playthings as in my hand it drives them mad. There also is a bouncy ball you can toss and your pokémon will go and fetch it.
It’s absolutely and utterly adorable I melted as soon as I saw the trailer of Vileplume bring back the ball. Now I want to run it on my team .. and that’s already so full! I’ll need several teams already! Now I want a vileplume just so I can toss a ball towards it. I am already inspired to catch them all now, because I feel like there is something I can do with my less offensive pokémon.
I can check out their play animations, I can train up some support pokémon for raids and keep it fun to alternate. Now your own camp is not the only camp that is available for you in pokémon sword and shield. While in the Wild Area you can encounter tents of others players and interact with them to access THEIR camp (as longs as you pay to be able to go online with your Switch) you can take along one pokémon to play with everyone you can find at the camp to all gain some benefits. You can even cook together, which brings us to the second announcement
Cooking
In order to gain more affection from your pokémon and quite possibly gain some stat boosts making food is going to be a requirement. There is only one type of food in the Galar region and thank ARCEUS it’s not malasada! In Galar we make curry, now let’s hope that Hop isn’t as big of a curry fanboy as Hau was of the malasda. Cooking happens in a minigame similar to making poffins like in generation 4. Controlling the fire and stirring the pot. You can do this alone or a bunch of friends, with the latter allowing for better ranked dishes.
However curry-crafting goes a lot further than just that. There are ample curry-dishes to make ..so much so that there even is a curry-dex for you to complete. From Sausage Curry to Fried Food Curry to Tofu Curry and beyond. You can use your berries to add the classic flavors like, dry , sweet , bitter and spicy and depending on what nature your pokémon have .. they will really like one and hate another so much like a long time ago, you’ll have to know your pokémon and its nature a bit if you want to optimise your synergy.
A great choice and alongside camping to me this feels like a much more natural way to farm your pokémon’s affection. It makes you feel much more like a traveller and good food is available to everyone. Magic balls of yarn and magic fruit trees or picture puzzles like in Kalos aren’t available to everyone. While you are deep inside a frosted cavern it feels weird that you could suddenly blowdry your eevee in Pokémon Sun and Moon. This is how it should be done and this is what I will feel happy about.. and I can look pretty darn good doing it.
Trainer Customisation
Yaaay we can go shopping again! When Gen VI revealed shopping for clothes had become a thing I nearly wet myself in excitement, finally I could make the trainer I wanted to make. Even though the options were fairly limited I had great fun into making a character feel like me. Alola and Gen VII improved this a bit for me… because i was a female trainer. As a boy in Alola you did not really have to splurge on vanity items. In this game though. Customisation looks very neat. In the past we could only play wearing a very natural hair colour.. which made NO sense at all given that there were SO many gym leaders with extreme hair colours. Now a lot more will be available to us.
We can finally feel like an anime character having access to shades of green, blue and…. *drumroll* pink! There is plenty of outfits that look cute and unique. In Alola you had three options with other skin variations from.. tank top with short skirt or hot pants to sundress. Here it seems you can dress both formal, casual , though or even hippie like. If there is a pink dress i’ll be one happy camper!
New to features is the ability to have some detailed make-up and you can epilate your eyebrows. Neat! Your brand new look can feature on your customisable trainer card. This trainer card allows you to pose and add your backgrounds add cute little details etc. This card will be displayed at your important matches (i’d reckon online as well) . Trainer cards can also be handed out and collected like it’s own little trading card game. If there actually is a trading card game remains to be seen but it’s cute nonetheless and your trainer has never felt more like your own character than is this game.
Two or maybe three new Pokemon.
Alright Gamefreak I’ll give you ONE more trailer to reveal my sweet little Impidimp! Yet again the devilishly pink pokémon was not revealed in the new trailer but we got two pokémon announced by name .. and maybe one other .. but we are quite unsure about it. However let’s not cross that bridge until we get to it shall we? The first pokémon that was announced was Polteageist, the black tea pokemon.
A cute little teapot embodied by a little ghosty boy. Only 20 centimeters high and weighing 400 grams this pokémon is a perfect ornament in your daily life. You can drink it’s tea, but drinking to much of it will give you a stomachache.They can mostly be found at hotels and castles and the likes where they are oftenly be treated as pests. If a Polteageist sees a teapot with some tea remains in them it can pour some of it’s essence into those remains and another of it’s kind wil be born in the new teapot. This leads to them being somewhat of a plague and pest in hotels and restaurants. It is a pure ghost type.. being only the 10th pokémon ever of that typing. It’s ability is weak armor, when it is hit with a physical move it’s defence stat is lowered but it’s speed is boosted. A nice way to simulate a cracking teapot but with a lot of priority physical moves out there, the strongest being it’s greatest weakness it remains to be seem if this pokémon can make it in to competitive play. It would need to have some solid speed stat to be begin with and some creative moveset to get around sucker punch.
The second pokémon that has been announcement was Cramorant. This Pokémon was part of the big leak that has nearly predicted everything right so far. I love it! I am a big fan of ducks and though this isn’t really a duck it sure is part of the duck family. It’s super blue!
Smurfs were less blue than this derpy looking boy. It brings back memories of psyduck for me which is good.. because I also loved that one. It’s a flying water type which isn’t particularly unique but with electric types not being ran THAT much in both the games as well as in versus it’s solid enough of a typing to help you deal with a lot of obstacles on your way. Cramorant is described to a loyal but mostly hungry pokémon.. there seem to be a lot of hungry pokémon in the Glar region. It will eat just about anything it can fit.. or even cant fit in its beak. While it is a scatterbrain it is said never to forget the bond with it’s trainers but don’t you dare steal it’s food. The waterbird is said to even ferociously attack it’s own trainer if they steal or take away the pokemon’s food. It’s most interesting feature however is it’s special ability. Gulp Missile allows the pokemon to scoop up a fishy after it uses surf or dive.
This little creature remains in it’s mouth after. This is called its Gulping Form, unable to swallow it whole Cramorant tries to eat..until it’s hit in combat after which it spits the sea creature at it’s opponent like a little projectile. This could be really fun.. and given that it works on dive AND surf it seems like Cramorant can work as both a physical or a special attacker. I am a fan of this duck-thing and I will find a shiny one!
Now this was all that was announced in the Nintendo direct. ‘But Pinke you told us there might be a third Pokémon’. Well yes! Pokémon doesn’t really have much ‘classic’ animals in their ecosystems.. there’s hints some might be left.. but I do belief that little fishy is it’s own Pokémon. We saw pokémon eating other before. The toxapex evolution line preys on corsola so perhaps this little fishy can be the prey of my already beloved ducklike. Is Fishy an entirely new pokémon? Or could it perhaps be a Galarian Wishiwashi ? Due to how small it is I am inclined to say the latter, it would also make sense in a way as it’s a schooling Pokémon. It’s all speculation so it’s to early to tell.. but mark my words we will see more of Fishy in the future… lets just hope Impidimp goes first.
So we conclude the this post of what is to come. Currently I am having some issues with my muscles which is vastly distracting from writing. Happy weekend my little monsters! Today is saturday again, which means we can talk just about anything. Since I try to highlight just about everything about the franchise, this time we we will take a look at some delicious goodies. Stuff I’d yell ‘Shut up and take my money’ about if I had any. However with my bank account being lower than a Sunkerns base stat total for now I can only dream. I do however feel it would be nice to share that dream with you all. Vaporwave Porygron Poster
Recently I’ve had some major struggles with my mental health, my house was decorated in a way to reflect the person people wanted me to be. Neutral cool colours, somewhat generic arts and the likes. However that is not me, I want my house to be colourful, bubbly and full of pokémon. A good and easy way to bring more pokémon into my life is through the use of posters. Like the Vaporwave Porygon poster I shared above, it looks absolutely stunning, it features my favorite colour and honours the age I am from. I can see a lot of myself in this poster, like being the oddball that kinda lives in a world of her own. It’s quirk it’s retro and a total eyecatcher! I WANT IT! Pokémon posters have some of the coolest designs you see in posters out there. Where many anime or game posters tend to be either cover art, screengrabs or the likes, many of the pokémon poster push those boundaries and speak, either by playing with colour or some other form of creativity, a great deal of them just step it up a nodge. The steel/metal poster shared below for example. It just pops to me, their outline being so much more defined than the actual pokémon, reflects how we all know them, and the neonesque outline really reflects the power that’s inside. A great piece to liven up any room!

An Alolan Vulpix Plush I am a big plush addict, I love them so much, all my seven unicorn pluches have names I address them by when I speak to them. Most my plushies are fair prizes, cause I am pretty good at crane games and if you know what and when you do it, you can get nice stuff for little money. The only plushies I actually spend big money on is, well you guessed it Pokémon Plushies. Right now I own about 7 of them, sleeping bulbasaur and sylveon as official tomy pluches, as well as pichu , chibi jolteon and everyone’s favorite mascotte Pikachu. I also own two bootleg pikachu’s because I loved how awkward they looked. Mimkiyu and Alolan Vulpix would be next on my wishlist, but since I own so many bootleg pikachu’s already, the official one would make my cabinet look very dull. Alolan Vulpix would definitely spice up the cabinet.
My favorite alola form, by far
Just look at how adorable it is, i’d squee every time i’d see it because alolan vulpix is just too precious. It’s variants all look quite nice and I have yet to see a really bad bootleg of it. Costing your from around €12,- Euro’s on websales it isn’t remarkably expensive to get either. The tomy version would , on european conventions cost you around €25, euros though. I still prefer to buy something like these at conventions in general just to get a scope of all angles and how the material feels, but at these prices I will start considering buying them online. This little baby also has two variants which I really like, my absolute favorite one being the vulpix in the great ball.

It makes for a great presentation piece, those big eyes just peering into your soul, with a hint of melancholy just makes you want to care for it.. and squee. Hey if i’d put it in the cabinet near my bed, the neighbours at least hear some squees of joins from that area, they might even start to think I am normal. The final one is ‘holiday’ AV, all i can really say is SQUUUUEEEEE!

Pokémon Master Trainer: The Board Game Let’s step away from the ornamental and huggables for a bit. It’s time to address the most expensive and rare item on my wishlist. Pokémon Masters is a classic board game where four trainers travel all across Kanto in order to capture the strongest team of pokémon and face the elite four. First one to become the champ , wins the game. The game features all the original 150 pokémon in a wonderfully broken and backstabby journey, that is a lot more fun for us grownups then it was when we were kids. If you ever felt Mario Party was a friendship wrecker you have never played Master Trainer. Stealing each others Pokémon or helping you lose against the elite four has never been more fun. If you like messing with your friends over a perfectly balanced and streamlined game like me, this game can be a world of fun. Unfortunately the original, set in Kanto sells for some ridiculous prices online from in between €80 and €350 for a complete set in at least passable qualities. There are version of Jotho (and Hoehn as well I believe) that are much cheaper, however they have been streamlined in terms of RNG and game breaking items, but where is the fun in that. Though truthfully if I ever see one of those cheaply I would probably still pick them up.

As I can’t go to long with wishing for something pink it is time we brought up this little guy. I have only recently figured out about it’s existence encountering it at dutch animecon in Rotterdam in the middle of June. However a quick price search resulted in me finding out it was fairly overpriced. Marketed there for about € 35 or even 40 euros, it was about €14 to €20 euros more expensive than you’d need to pay for it. So I had to let it slip my grasp. It’s a fairly common item and it’s not that hard to see why. It’s friggin cute, sure the eyes look a bit painted on but it’s a lamp,you won’t notice it that much when it’s on. Even if you do… who can say no to that face! The little puffball.. ‘yes you are a good little light! Yes you are!’ Sorry I can really get carried away fangirling over items like these. Off all the items on my list this will most likely be the first to purchase , after all when it’s out there nice and glowy I am sure it will give ,anyone who adopts this little fellow, a good night’s sleep.

The Pikachu alarm clock Having made a nice bridge we have come to the last item of this post, given that I still have a folder filled with items, somewhere in the future there will be a follow up. When Jigglypuff sends us asleep we need someone to jolt us awake. That task of course comes down to Pikachu. This item flew onto my radar when I encountered it at a discount store, available to me for only seven euro it raised my suspicions, Unfortunately those proved correct having one ear of the Pikachu missing. I could not look by that fault and my crafting level is too low to mend such things creatively. Having only a tiny display is good for me, because I am a panic peeker, when I can’t sleep I stare at the clock and worry about all the sleep I am losing, which..is a lot. A clock like this will help me to relax a little bit more. The imagery of a pokémon sleeping is nice and Pikachu can emit a night dim little nightlight if you so chose. The clock comes in bulbasaur and squirtle variations as well, but those tend to be quite a bit more expensive. Pikachu ‘clock’s in’ (heh i made a pun) at €25,- while the starter bros are closer to €40 euros , squirtle costing just a few bucks more than the best starter. Just don’t toss the pokéball in your dreams, you’ll be late.

Next time we will look at some more amazing plushies and some figurines, maybe even a mug or two! Though most people claim that pokemon do not exist, we can still fill our houses with them, and stuff about them. That makes them real enough already for me.
