Staff Introduction: Cherry the Chef

Hear Ye Hear Ye, Princess Pinkie has returned with a general announcement! 

Salutations, loyal subjects and sweet island guests! Today is a day of celebration! No, it is not my birthday!  Not the blogs second anniversary either! Though we are drawing close! No today we have yet another STAFF-member join us! So all put your hands together, and give a warm welcome to Cherry the Chef! Thanks to imagination we can replace that old drunkard that did the job before now!  Sure we had Tadokoro Megumi work in the sushi restaurant but in the alla cart place we had this nobody!  Yay for more staff!

Who is Cherry

Like most introductions before, Cherry chose to be introduced by me!  Which means we will get a bit of character backstory! Followed by my experience with the person behind Cherry , her soul as it were, after which we will discuss the content she is going to offer to the website!  I would really love it if people would interact with this post and give her a warm welcome!  She is very new to the WordPress community and making friends is important!  So I hope you guys will be kind to her!  and that you will give her a warm welcome!

Cherry is the first character that comes from a somewhat tragic backstory!  It all started on the island of Kawadrago.  A fire dragon was anxious! She had to find a mate! But she wasn’t interested in the male dragons!  Nor in the female ones for that matter. Sure she would love to have some friends, but she did not want to be fertilised to lay an egg!  She did want that egg..but the whole procedure was a bit icky to her!  Many called this fire dragon loveless! But she knew that was not true!  Because there was one thing she loved more than anything else!  That was eating cherries!  She even had a favorite Cherry Tree. Because the fire dragon did not really have any friends.. she decided this tree was her best friend!  She protected it , she talked to it and was super stoked when the tree dropped her a few cherries. She would eat her fill and then cuddle up around the tree! A nature spirit saw this and blessed the dragon with her desire!  The next day she woke up she found she had laid an egg! 

From this egg, Cherry was born!  She was a half fie dragon .. and  half cherry dragon!   Or maybe a half fire dragon and half cherry! She never got an answer to that question! Her mother loved Cherry very much and until the end of her days, the fire dragon was never lonely again.  Yet when  the fire dragon had left it’s world Cherry was all alone.. and still in pretty much dragon infancy! Like her mother Cherry was an outcast among the more pureblooded dragons! Who’d only associate with pure blood dragons of the four elements! Cherry would get quite angry and threw hissy fits every time she was excluded! Yet her inner sweetness also prevented her from getting into a fight! So Cherry would  go into abandoned parts of the forest and set it ablaze.. watching the fire!

One one such tantrums Cherry discovered she was very hungry! She found a rabbit that had died in the fire as well as some vegetables and fruits that had not burned up.. but looked different then before! A delicious scent entered her nostrils and she decided to consume the fire touched goods! It was the most delicious thing she ever had! For many years Cherry experimented with this.. whenever she had the chance she would  tease the other dragons as well by setting fire to their favourite hide and seek hiding spots! If she could not play she would show them.. and get a delicious meal out of it! Yet despite her spunk, and her newly acquired skill to make food more delicious by cooking it the village kept alienating her! One day while she was trying to see if a fish could burn a bottle washed up on shore!  In the bottle was a letter!  After breaking the bottle and getting the letter out Cherry saw the message read “STAFF wanted”.. An island that was looking for a new chef! One where all the things you imagine can come true.. and where imaginary and real things live? She must go there!

Once arrived, she met Pinkie, the princess of the island! The two became quick friends!  Both loved eating cherries, and Pinkie preferred that other people cook her food!  When Cherry asked for the job Pinkie told the dragon that maybe some normies might be a bit scared of her looks like this.. so she could be like everyone else.. by just imagining her becoming human! A lot of Vtubers do this! Once even a glass of Milk-tea imagined becoming human!  So Cherry tried as well! Pinkie loved her both ways but it would be nice to fit in for a bit!  Cherry had a bit of trouble transforming! Two buns in her hair remained big ripe cherries and one of her eyes still looked like that of a dragon! While Pinkie and the staff was fine with it! Cherry decided to wear some items to cover it up!  Just so she can play and have fun with a lot of people!   And for the first time.. Cherry had found a bunch of misfits like her.. that all joined together! For the first time Cherry was happy!

Nowadays Cherry makes all sorts of meals on Paradise and when she isn’t cooking she is playing pranks on island guests! Or throwing a hissy fit somewhere! Cherry does not like it when something .. anything.. is excluded from something! She even stomped out angrily when Kuro said Pineapple doesn’t belong on Pizza!  She doesn’t even like pineapple on Pizza but people should never exclude the poor fruit!  Kuro is her favourite victim to prank!  She would sneak up to his house at night when he is asleep, then turn bag into a dragon and leave a big footprint in the sand.. making him think a Kaiju is close, and as he runs of in the forest changing phantoms she walks in his hut and flips his mattress or changes the clocks.

Cherry and Pinkie

The Story of the Pink Sith: Sy'ra Delinda – Pinkie's Paradise

Cherry and Pinkie go back long before the start of Pinkie’s blog!  By now I think we have known each other for about ten years. We first met on the Roleplay server of Star Wars the Old republic. Pinkie had just made a Sith character that got tortured so much and mind messed so up, her brain could not really retain empty information anymore! Things like.. names would never stick.. so she had to refer to everyone.. with a depiction of a word.. a sound or making it concrete to herself. Very dangerous in the Sith community! Especially when you call a Sith called Darth Gaur, Lord Growl. Cherry’s first character did not like my Pink Sith!  My character had a hard time fitting in and had to fight to restore her mind!  Yet among the ocean of super negative Sith being a positive one.. created some magnetism! People  who did not want to play the super stereotype flocked to me.. and Cherry had a character she wanted to try to roleplay around my character as well. A shy Twi’lek who never could be touched.. met with my Sith who wanted to hug everyone!

From that an online friendship grew that lasted for way beyond the duration of our time on Star Wars, Cherry joined my online D&D’s almost every single time and alway is one of the most good spirited and creative players. She heavily veers into the archetype that is Cherry the character, so already she will do a great job in pulling that off. She is also a very loving mother, and that behaviour translates in her everyday reactions to everyone! No matter who in my roleplay chats is troubled, Cherry is always willing to hear them out and cheer them up with a virtual hug! So she in that matter she is very different from her character!

We both have been through a lot together, shared experiences with our health and our family and while on occasion we talk a bit less, we always somehow end up drawing back together to become a lot closer again! Almost as if it is destined we’d be friends!  So it would be very interesting to see if Cherry will have some of that same appeal to our readers! Cherry has this beautiful fragility to her, almost like a baby bird.. but way less ugly than a baby bird!  She may not be as Seiso as me, if you look at her and see her talk normally you completely forget, you drop your guard and then BAM she suddenly surprises you!  

A mutual (former)  friend once described her as an Espeon, where he was Umbreon and I am Sylveon.. and wdo fit those archetypes pretty well! .. I guess Kuro is an Umbreon as well, Sunny is a Vaporeon , Periwinkle is a Flareon and Indigo… despite being kinda missing in action, is a Joteon!  So I guess we are just a Leafeon and Glaceon short of a full set now! … Maybe an Eevee.. so if you want to join…now that we have Cherry.. we finally have someone to translate our Ikea manuals for us.. so if you join you might get those benefits as well!

Cherry Cooks up Content

My beloved friend and the most adorable Cherry-Dragon you have ever seen, will offer some quite unique content for Paradise!  She will be a bit like me , and do a bit of everything!  Some general talks about gaming, geekdom and of course her speciality.. cooking!   Having found a great hobby in creating the best meals, in both virtual as real form Cherry will bring geekdom and cuisine together in a lot of cooking game reviews and maybe even some geeky recipes!  Yet she is also not exclusively bound to this subject! Like I’d imagine a cherry based life form she is free to bounce around and offer content that is anything her heart desires!

For example .. in the past Cherry was known to go on big lore tangents and rambles!   Where we would just say … oh I saw a Priest with a Watch and someone said”Heh Tech Priest” and Cherry would go on and talk about the Origin of Tech Priests in Warhammer 40k… Now this particular example never happened but she did stuff like that! For example when I would ask what the correct name for Snorlax and Pikachu from Darksouls 2 was, she’d go on to tell a story that would last longer than a game of Civilisation! And I kinda love it!.. I did not process it all.. but still! I would personally love to see her do some deep dives in lore again someday! So who knows maybe I can convince her to do a series like that!

As for Cherry’s schedule, we need to figure that out still!  My dear friend , like me , is plagued with fairly regular migraines and moments of minor health failure! You know the kind that doesn’t exactly put you in the hospital or the grave but are enough to block creative writing! It’s why I moved to an every other day schedule! So how much Cherry will post will remain something we need to discover over time!  Those who are going to be mean about it.. even if you end up being a die hard Cherry fan, will have to deal .. with me! Well when I say me, I mean my fictional knights.. or me the cruel evil admin!  Let’s all agree that we will not pressure each other and just have fun together! This week her first post will go up though which will be a blog about…… I am already feeling hungry! So I will go grab a snack or even a meal! It’s already quite late when I write this! STAFF Introduction: Sunny The “Cabana Boy”

My dear Island Guests! Today we introduce our third and for now final STAFF member to our team. As in these are all the people who applied! You are of course always welcome! So who will join the team on this sunny day?! Why it’s Sunny of course! Sunny is our Cabana Boy. A Genderfluid biassed towards male who oftenly calls himself a Demi-Boy! Please give him a warm welcome!

The Cleanest Cabanas

Sunny is a bit special as he is not the traditional avatar of his writer! He is but one avatar! He in fact is not even a human! He is a pixie! Recognisable by his Dragonfly wings and relatively short height of only being one and a half  meter of  five foot tall. He really is a chibi of sorts. His skin is kissed by the sun, while his hair is bleached by it. He prefers to wear his hair shaggy without much product in it. He goes for a very natural look. His golden dragonfly wings almost make it seem like he is radiant like the sun itself. His signature look is a fully yellow haiwain shirt he wears over a white T-shirt. He wears very short hand cut jeans and waddles around the resort barefooted. If he is not fluttering around chasing after little yellow bugs that is.

If you ask Sunny what is his function at the resort he will claim he is the Cabana boy! When you ask the manager , she tells you she hired him as an interior and exterior attendant. While both are vague the manager hired him to clean the pool, mop the hallways of the main building and clean up the cabana’s our guest can stay at.  In practice Sunny is found way more in at the pool or in the gardens then inside Cabanas or even the main resort. Yet he manages to keep everything sparkly clean. It is clear though he is an outdoor person.  His preferred pronouns are he and him as he personally finds they or them to be to much akin to the royal we. He is a down to earth Pixie that Sunny is! For the most part.. he claims he is a magical broom closet!  Sometimes he takes people there and once they get there they just get a slight sprinkling of fairy dust.. It soothes you and as you listen to what he has to say it takes you away to some magical story worlds. Like a little fantasy world – where the Tanuki King is waging war on the Chinese Astrology Animals, or Fluff Bunnies tend their Sacred Dandelion. Of course manager Pinkie has not experienced this yet because as demi-sexual as she is .. she is scared that the Broom closet is code.. after all you know what they say about cabana boys!

Back in the day, the Cabana Boy was basically a pool boy but was generally some super cute, sexy, got a six pack young Cuban male that all the middle aged white women drooled over and sometimes had an affair with over their vacation but he wasn’t someone you could be seen with in public you know? So if you ask, he’ll say he’s the Cabana Boy and grin winningly. It is unknown if Sunny does those Cabana boy things.. or what other powders might be mixed in with that pixie dust but the manager asks him to put these stories of his world into words on her computer screen. Just to be safe that she doesnt get lucky! So regardless if you want to go into the broom closet with you .. or you want to read through the story on your tablet while at the pool..sunnies stories are there for you to enjoy. While you are at the pool however Sunny may walk up to you and begin to talk about interesting bits of trivia about Japan, folklore, anime, games, animals and nature.So that is plenty of content this pixie can offer.

Sunny is a helpful but easily distracted fellow, he will fetch you a drink while you are at the pool to lazy to move, he will change your light bulb if you’d be to scared in the dark and he would take out the batteries of the smoke detector in your room, so you can light a candle or burn incense without you setting of the alarm. Indigo finds this irresponsible and sometimes wants to scold him  but after covering him in pixie dust the two they wander off together. Oftenly to go fishing!.. Or well they reel in fish.. give them a name then cast them back in. Unlike Indigo however , Sunny seems to recognise all the fish.

If he isn’t in the mood for fishing he is oftenly helping Kuro clean their glasses, talking about Daffodils or Butterflys. Fake sneezing so they can accidentally get a few colourful sprinkles on Kuro to make them look just a bit brighter and help them when their mood is at their darkest. He likes to help people find their way and because of this he often carries a little lantern. Which he borrows out to people when they feel they are stuck in the dark. Inside is a bunch of warm emotions and what seems like sunlight which guide people back to a happy place. For this reason he can be rather friendly with the manager when she tries to over decorate the island with pretty lights and sparkles again.  They can make the place so bright it even feels sunny at night.. and go as extreme as Pinkie putting her pink sparkles on Sunnies fairydust.. or Sunny wrapping pinkie’s coloured lights all around his guidance lanterns. Sunny also does some heavy lifting! Something the manager is utterly incapable of! So yes these two bounce off of each other very well!

A very Sunny Summer

The writer behind Sunny, is my blogging bestie Summer, by some of you better known as Foovay. She is  the reason Pinkie believes in real life pixies! Because.. if they are real Summer certainly is one. She claims to be one and I believe her. Just for all you sceptics out there interpret it as you want. A pixie and an alien together would make for a great anime!
My bestie has been around this earth for 29  years longer than I have, and she got married when I was three. So there is life experience and geek experience which will without a doubt result in some amazing stories from Sunny. She is Pagan as well, which I am pretty sure is like a Witch of sorts.. so she is a Pixie Witch.. which makes me think I need to add something to my Alien! What should I pick up? Let me know in the comments! I can’t stay behind my Blogging Bestie of course! As an american she isn’t going to help me much in my quest in finding all variants of English spelling but she lives in an RV so Imagine she is actually Miss Frizzle’s sister! The magic RV! She even scored herself a younger husband.. being eight years younger. Her husband’s health is a bit frail which at times can prevent her from writing so please be patient.. Good content will come from this amazing person.

Unlike Pinkie, Summer is quite an adventurer. She loves to  kayak, bike, hike and to travel. Kayaking will make me very sick.. and thus will probably kill me! (I get seasick from even swimming to long or standing on anything that doesn’t move solidly). While I am dutch I wrecked several bicycles. One time I was biking in the woods for gym class in school and we had to hop a tree.I woke up from a gym teacher talking at me.. I never felt so dizzy and when I saw what shape the bike was in I was so scared I would have to pay the school a new mountain bike..so doing it again would probably kill me. Hiking I kinda like.. but once I got myself trapped as I could not descend a hill with my footing.. so I ruined my clothes by sliding myself off.  I am not made for adventure.. but that is what makes me appreciate Summer so much. Having been an artist, animal control officer, a vet tech, an exotic dancer and  of course a writer she had a very interesting career which no doubt can lead to some very inspirational tales.  I am the NEET princessy girl locked in an attic because she is so frail and should not go out!  Summer is like the person who throws pebbles at my windows so we can sneak out and we end up Isekaid somehow! With her being like a very powerful fighter and me being the OP mage or healer.  Which again is neat because I really detect such an energy I can bounce off with her! So a great addition to the team.

There are still more colours to give away

Pink, Black, Blueish purple, Yellow!  Those are the colours of Paradise right now. With three people I can rely on I am extremely content! I did not think I would be having this many people here already! Yet if you too want a fun team to write with, if you are looking to blog without having to actually need to  do the whole backend! If you just want to write and have fun! You are also welcome to Paradise. As long as what you want to tell us is remotely geeky, we do not require you to have the skill for writing! Paradise is welcome to everyone.. We look at people with the drive to share their passions!  Kuro, Indigo and Sunny will undoubtedly produce some amazing content as we go along but so can you!  Passion and geekiness is what unites us and what will make you amazing as well! So if you are out there know that you will always be welcome… provided you can abide by the terms and conditions stated here.. As long as there are colours there will be a place for you!

There are some sweet little posts there as well. I am not much of a mobile phone gamer, (not that I hate mobile games I just hate grinding in general)   but she sure tempts me with those cat and horses games.. and weirdly horses scare me a bit… not like really but if it’s not a pony I will keep my distance  a bit.. Even though I love unicorns.. I do know why though! When I was young a classmate of mine got bit by a horse right in front of me. His cry of pain was so intense I never forgot that pained cry.. So I am kinda scared to pet them. Okay I got sidetracked there! Anyway show some love! Stay tuned for some awesome content.. and allow this Sunny Summer to warm you up with wholesomeness..or possibly cute stories with some serious gruesome undertones!  It will be glorious either way! So show this new author some love!

As for my words to Sunny, whom I will address in their avatar form. Time for me to welcome him to the island! Dear Sunny! You are already such a fleshed out character, you have quirks and traits and that just shows how capable you are behind the keyboard as well. You have this energy and experience that makes me better and more peppy so I am incredibly excited to have you here! You were there for me for quite a while now and you helped me trough a major low!  You are like my duracell battery.. or my g-fuel.. (I think at least I still have no idea what G-Fuel actually is) . You can be the orange juice in every cocktail and bring that sunshine and pixie magic to everyone. I have zero doubts that you will fit in great and compliment the team greatly. I love the stories I have written of you so far and to share some is actually quite amazing. I may have gotten quite the amount of Sunshine bloggers alive in my one year career, you Sunny have already truly brightened my blogging experience! Now even more so!  Welcome to Paradise and thank you so much for being here!

STAFF Introduction: Indigo the Head of Security

He-he-here we go! He’s finally here! To write stuff for you! If you check this page! You can join us too!  Put your hands together! I want you to clap! As he’s introduced.. with this cool rap! Huh! Indi! INDIGO! Indi! Indigo is here!

One Hell of A Security Guy

Points for you if you got what that intro is based on! Clearly I am in a cheerful mood today and that is with good reason! I get to announce that my long time friend now going by the name of Indigo has joined the fray! I have known him for longer than I blog and as per today he will be on the fictional Payroll of the fictional Paradise, receiving fictional income for his fictional position as my head of security!  I think you know what his task is! That’s right he is trying to save you from fictional treats.. like pickpockets and pirates. He will do this by creating some amazing characters in his original stories that will walk around on Paradise  keeping you safe.. but he is also quite skilled in playing some video games and telling  you about them! It will keep you distracted but also that nasty pickpocket! How neat huh! If I put up to much party lights, he is also skilled enough in the electrical work so that we don’t all die in a blaze of fire and colourful glass so but yeah mostly he is just here to write his own things.  I bet he can tell you amazing tales set in the Fallout or Warhammer 40K Universe. 

Indigo is a fresh face on WordPress, with their only experience so far leaving likes and a few comments! So his content style will be a surprise to us all! We can expect some game reviews and fan fiction from him. I suspect we will mostly see character driven stories about warriors wielding  swords and armors. With an edgy grimdark twist. He’s probably also the guy who will keep me in check! “Pinkie have you read that comment yet?” ‘Don’t forget to reply to that person who @dded you on Twitter” If you are angry and mean.. I will also send him after you! If you think I am ignoring you.. you can send him after me! Perfect balance.
He is a  hard working confidant sort of speak who has his own.

I know for sure he is combining the  world of my tabletop and videogames to tell you an unique “what if story”  Yet he also talked about not one but two game reviews!  He mostly plays  shooting games.. but also the deeper rpgs and Soulsbornes! Sometimes even stuff  in between… as long as he gets to kill. I made him play Ducktales though! For breakfast he rips and tears into Deathclaws and in the afternoon he does scientific research how much fatboy mini nukes it takes to kill a demon. His knowledge of weaponry is also impressive so if you like to discuss Alucard’s guns.. our security officer will be here for you! You can recognise him by his unique look. Donning his Indigo outfit with pink belts!  Because when we play or work together, he always does something with pink! Such a good guy! That coat is a tad edgy though!

How I met Indigo

To introduce you a bit more to this man I shall tell you the story of how we met. In fact I have talked about some elements he brings to the table. I met Indigo trough Star Wars roleplay.. like four or so years ago. I was playing a Sith woman named Sy’ra  who felt like friendship is magic and the path to Power in the Sith.. starting out as a rival for a Zabraki love, soon Sy’ra won over his character Lelianne because of her sly and cunning ways. Which later blossomed into a nice and warm friendship between the two characters. My character formed a house of her own which resulted in a private Skype-group for friends and family members. Indigo was in that chat!  As time passed we bonded and enjoyed playing a lot. His characters a Mandalorian clan leader named Kraleth became my security officer and his daughter Lelianne, became Sy’ra bodyguard.. and they even had a short romance.. but Lelianne saw herself to much as a tool. Living only for Sy’ra. My Sith taught Lelianne to love herself for those who can’t love themselves and see themselves as items only can never be truly loved either.   It was a lesson Indigo also had to learn still. Indigo is a bit of an anime edgelord. The type that will sacrifice themselves to safe you.. even if the treat is a flew splashes of rain… because dying for someone is cool!  This mentality brought Indigo in trouble  a few times as a roleplayer. This selfless trait is a great thing for a security officer to have though! And he has experience with the job! Nothing will phase him anymore!

Indigo is a fair bit younger than me as well.It’s not like I could be his mom (there is only one person in my online tabletop, which by the way is not the D&D that stopped, that’s young enough to be my son). He might be able to tell me what G-Fuel is.. even though I never hear him talk about it.. and those who drink?! (it’s a drink right?) usually talk about it so I am unsure.   I bet he would love the Vinland Saga anime as he really likes dark and Military themes in stories. So I think that will tell you a bit what type of stories we can expect. I always tease him for the sheer amounts of edge he has in him. His coffee cups have bullets and skulls on them and he listens to so much metal that if you have a magnet on you it will stick to his ears… if there aren’t people with lots of piercings around or a living suit of armor of course. He’s the type of guy who drinks their coffee black just because it looks cooler in front of the others, but that also means there is more cream and sugar left for me!

For little over a year now I have made a tabletop game on mondays, that is basically an anime tabletop.. people can create their character and from all known media they have to fight against treats from other worlds.. like Hol Horse  from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures or Dracula from the Castlevania games but also 4 world leaders and their Eldritch Horseman.. they employ to summon a big Eldritch evil upon this world.  During their journey the group can encounter characters from all across anime. For example they are working with Krul Tepes from Owari no Seraph and they have a rivalry with Perona from One Piece.. who works for Elon Musk to use her Horro Horro fruit to change the little Eldritch baby the has into a ultimate weapon to stop the greater evil.. at the cost of a few cities. Indigo here plays the seventh courier from Fallout New Vegas.. a fictional character that was supposed to be there as well..but ended up Isekaid..into our world.  As this game requires very much communication to build your character (as you can literally build whatever you want)  Indigo and I started to talk more and more and our friendship became tighter. 

When he asked to stream a few games in our Discord group I noticed how he would lack the platform there to show the games he is interested in.  Regardless how much I love Indigo.. Warhammer stuff is completely wasted on me and the one that is interested.. is only so when it’s convenient to them! So that’s why I thought! Maybe writing in a place like mine could let him tell those stories to a bit wider of an audience. Also based on some follower names I score surprisingly well  with those with edgy nicknames… so maybe you will like his style as well. His different palette compared to  mine when it comes to stories and games can make us cover such a wide arrangement of stuff. I feel he can compliment me very well! I will still be the best Pinkie.. but Indigo will provide the contrast to make my pink look even brighter.  Indigo hasn’t blogged before and is fairly new to WordPress so I want you all to give him a warm welcome! To Indigo, you will have to socialise a bit.. so use the WordPress reader to find yourself some Warhammer, or Soulsborne blogs, take a peek at the people welcoming you and be an awesome tomodachi for the amazing people in the community! Even More STAFF to come?!

I could tell you plenty of stories about Indigo but instead I rather direct you to his Twitter, and ask you to wait and see what their posts will bring. Indigo is from Finland so like me he is a non native English speaker. I assume that means like me they are schooled in UK english so expect to see his top five FAVOURITE guns in video games and not his top five FAVORITE 40k Races, but I might be wrong here!  For those who think we spell Colour wrong I got good news! The third person that applied to write on this place is American! So we will be evenly distributed then.  I am still looking for a Canadian and an Australian to join so I can get all English variants gathered!


If you want to write but don’t want to maintain your own blog or if my blog covers topics you can’t put on your own website feel free to apply under STAFF wanted.  As long as you do not expect to be paid and as long as you respect everyone like I ask everyone to respect you things are totally going to be fine and you will always be good enough! I went through this phase myself.. where I felt like the lesser writer. Maybe I am the lesser writer to most.. but Indigo as well as Crow and Fred helped me remind me that no one writes like me.. Somewhere there is a guy.. in my case like Indigo.. who will like that style and the same goes for you! I wish for Paradise to be a platform for all of you who want to share your thoughts in a more low key way!  We are a holiday resort!  Ambition is for when you get back to real life! This is all about fun! So if you want to share stuff you feel you can not  share elsewhere.. feel free to apply even if your not Canadian or Australian! We will make you feel welcome.. and with that please everyone leave a comment to welcome Indigo! I want him to feel right at home!

As for my own words to Indigo! There is little to say I have not said yet in our chats! I am so happy for everything you did for this blog, for me so be able to offer you this platform for your thoughts makes me really happy. I know we have vastly different opinions on media but that is what makes this work so much I think! I have every bit of faith in you! I have seen your voice in Roleplaying and your writing and I know this is something unique to you. With a dash of Warhammer, a Dash of Hellsing but also a healthy does of old warrior values and an appreciation of tech I am 1000% sure you will add something new to this blog! You might have to check if there are blogs around in your posse using WordPress reader but I also think quite a few people around really will be interested in your voice so never be afraid to let it shine! Be yourself.. no matter how much flack for being to edgy I give you for it! It’s all in good spirit! Friends teasing each other and all! You are a dear friend and probably my most supportive friend..at least when it comes down to this hobby! So I am super thrilled to have you! Welcome to the team!  Welcome to Paradise! Also could you please look into that Yellow looking fellow. I was walking in the lobby today when I faceplante… I mean gracefully landed after tripping on a yellow bucket. He had a mob with him as well but he was just staring outside smirking at some daffodils….weird.

Indigo has no Kofi page to support yet! However if he ever does decide on doing this a banner to support him will show up on his own posts! All writers have their individual Kofi Pages, though Pinkie’s one is also used to maintain the website. Keep an eye out for ways to support Indigo and for now just make him feel welcome! STAFF Introduction: Kuro the Bartender!

My Island Guests today is a special day! Today I shall introduce you to the first of my STAFF members , who will come join the team! Please all put your hands up for Kuro Let’s take a peek!

Little Bar of Horrors

Kuro joined my staff wanting to serve you refreshing cocktails of content. With ambition and boundless creativity this addition to the team will offer you one mean son of Pina Colada! If you like they can also offer you a derriere-whooping in games like Overwatch and they laugh at the challenge of Seikoro or Dark Souls…. Kuro is for real! So  straight away we can see why they will compliment the team very well! They aren’t much like me! Which is a very good thing because when it comes down to me being me, no one can beat Pinkie! She really the best Pinkie! Kuro definitely is the better Kuro though! I imagine them being a bit like Sebastian Michaelis ,one hell of a Bartender.  Their content cocktail speciality will be the Write-Tai cocktail!  For those who do not know what is the cocktail in which we explore stories we have written ourselves. Be it based on other properties , like fan fiction or completely original stories. Kupo’s  Write-Tai’s will usually be spiced with flavours of the orient. In particular flavours of the land of the rising sun… so you weebs and otaku are in pretty good hands here!

Stories can vary of course but Kuro has a taste for the dark! With a slight hint of opiates in their cocktails, much like in the classic Absinth of From Hell is to be believed, Kuro will bring us tales and spookums that play with the human mind. That sounds so much more impressive than anything I do already! So I do hope you all keep rooting for your Pinkie girl as well.So please be kind to me as well. As one of the island bartenders Kuro will have some strong tales to tell, some drinks to mix and they know exactly what  tanning beds at the pool will get occupied by hot anime girls!  Kuro is only the first joining the team! They will soon be joined by possibly a cleaning fairy and a security office. Contract negotiations for them are still pending though so we might find out they other talents as well!  Kuro’s talents however are already pretty well defined!  Kuro is a specialist in psychological horror! They even have their colour in their favour! Kuro is Japanese for black for those who don’t know and if there is a colour I tie to Japanese themed psychological horror it’s black! … and red.. but they have a lot of red details on their chibi so hey!  Great design from them!

Get to know Kuro

So today’s post will not be a long one! I have a day at the water planned and a massive 38 degrees Celsius which is 100 degrees Fahrenheit heatwave making things miserable for me. So it is okay to coast! But do you know who never coasts? That’s right it’s Kuro! Not only do they play their Soulsborne games and keep trying their utmost! Besides writing for Paradise they also are a part of team Kawai Paper Pandas. That’s right! Our Kuro is none other than Tsubaki Kuro! Blogger AND Novelist! Now that is dedication to the craft. Meanwhile I abandon you to play in the water for a bit! So aren’t you all glad you have a little Kuro in your life as well! Black as a colour really harmonises with pink as well so Kuro is also fashionable! Most important they are a coconut as well! That’s right they supported my Kofi and got a coconut representative as well. Check out Camp Coconut if you do not know what that is! So to those asking the question.. I want to be a coconut but also join the STAFF as well.. what do I pick?! You can do it all!

We are a happy little community that support each other. Come on and geek with us in the comments , twitter or  twitter! That’s right Tsubaki Kuro/Our Kuro has a twitter as well!  You should totally check it out to see some really funny.. but also at times slightly ‘naughty” stuff.  When I do say naughty do note that it is being said from the perspective of a Demisexual..it might be super vanilla!  Kuro is an American living in Ontario CA.. which is California not Canda! So that means Paradise might now be represented during proper US like times! It will also mean that I write in British English while Kuro shall write in American English! So while I represent the colour pink! They represent the color black! I measure in meters.. and Celsius, they will do other things. I hoped they were Canadian so we’d spell colour the same but Center differently! But alas! Twitter fooled me! So if you like to know all about Ontario California! Send them a dm on twitter! Also I am still looking for Canadian staff apparently!

For some reason these folks also seem Canadian to me!

On this blog we will see Kuro return to their routes of writing fiction! Will they write about other stuff as well? Time will tell! If you want their amazing voice to be heard be sure to leave a like and some love behind! I would like to ask you all to at least give them a warm welcome! Say something nice! Like “Welcome to Paradise Kuro” or “I  will have a Bacardi Cola” Kuro. Because if you read my Blogger’s I’d invite to my island party you know! If you wanna party on the island you gotta work! So our first bartender we will have.  I think we shall let Kuro man the pool! There are more girls there! The guys are out surfing at the beach! I also occasionally surf but then the guys go “Pinkie you are not really surfing you are just sitting on a Pikachu on the water” .. .and I’d be like.. but it knows the HM Surf you guys! We all good! Anyway yes Kuro will man the Tiki cantina so they have good look at the hula dancers and Jimmy Buffett. Gotta have Jimmy Buffett in Paradise as well. But don’t worry Kuro .. it will mostly be Hula dancers. A wise man once told me to also invite Barry Manilow! See now this is a party! Join the party and praise our new hero Kuro!

It won’t be long before yet another STAFF member will join the ranks! Who is it?! Well one of them is another coconut and another is a WordPresser I very much adore! One will represent hotel security but we don’t have a Chibi for them yet! Nor introduction stuff. It could be a few days! But they have the time! Paradise is a place of vacation there are no deadlines! No stress. Just cocktails. Plus a lot of bloggers so old we do not even know what G-fuel is! So it’s a haven for the geeks and a retirement home for geeks as well. Can’t wait to play our Storm Trooper Shuffleboard! Which is Shuffleboard but you do it blind! How droll! Luckily Kuro and one of the other new Staff are a bit younger.. so they can help us old folks (I’m 33,7 by the way) connect to the young whippersnappers!

Joking aside Paradise will always be a place of inclusion! If you feel like you want to write but don’t feel like you are good enough to pull off a blog off your own.. you are good enough for Paradise. If you would like to blog but can’t be bothered to do all the images and blog managing stuff , we got you covered on Paradise. Just be geeky and don’t exclude people from our beautiful paradise! Me and Kuro will welcome you with open arms. If you are a hot anime girl Kuro will be delighted to show you around and if you are not your lovely pink manager will very much take you on a little island tour! Regardless of what type of geek you are, games, geeks movie and more. Regardless your beliefs , skintone or past. Paradise is about inclusion, and walking to the beat of your own drum! (Within the bounds of the law of course) Not having to change for others. No matter how many demons you have on your shoulders, no matter how often you feel defeated.. Paradise will always be a place for you..both as a reader and as a writer!  And since this is a place of inclusion! I really hope you will all help me in giving Kuro a warm welcome so they can feel loved and included as well.

Now this part is specifically from me to Kuro as I would very much like to be the first person to say welcome home! I have read some very and creative pieces you made on Kawai Paper Panda’s and I know you have a delightful imagination as well! I also know you can be strict on yourself and even if I have a few rules know I will always welcome you! You are a geek! I am a geek! While I might feel less euphoric about centipede girls as you do , and would prefer a squid girl a demon girl..or a psychopath yandere who may or may not end me forcing me to sleep with a knife under my own pillow! Know that as long as you welcome everyone here, you will always be welcome here! I have no doubt the content you share will be amazing because in our talks I could really feel your desire to get back to this content you can produce here! I felt passion! With that passion I am sure you are an amazing addition to this team that will help Paradise grow bigger and add some very unique stories!  I love psychological horror stories  so I am a very lucky person indeed. I will be able to read amazing content on my own blog!  And no I do not mean a self devaluating way.. but if anyone ever read their own posts you know that sentiment!  Now I can read stuff on my own blog and be surprised and amazed just as I have no doubt our readers will! To conclude I will tell that writers on Paradise can have their individual Kofi.
